What is the minimum length for an article

I have written many articles on different topics here. Now as Admin stated it would be an educational site and we cannot submit a noneducational resource here.

I want to know the minimum word limit for an article. It is not possible to submit an article of up to 800+ words. If I want to submit an article related to admission I have to show the admission process, last date, fee structure, etc but not possible to make in lengthy unnecessarily.

Please guide me about the minimum length for an article on the admission process or entrance exam.

Minimum length of an article is supposed to be 500 words. Generally, articles will be falling somewhere in the range from 700 to 1200 words covering the subject precisely and crisply. However, long and detailed articles having large content can go even upto 2000 to 2500 words.

As per the information given by Vandana in the thread
How to submit articles at IndiaStudyChannel.com, the following are the points regarding the word limit.
    1. An article has to have a minimum of 500 words.
    2. No maximum word limit. But it is better to avoid far too lengthy articles.
    3. If the article's length is more, it can be split into parts.
    4. Shorter-length articles of less than 500 words may also be accepted only in certain cases, like admissions, results, announcements, etc.
    5. But in any case, the number of words should not be fewer than 300 words.

Hope this will clear your doubts about the word limit and length of the articles.

    Hakimuddin Kuwakhedawala,

As instructed earlier, you need to check all the Sectionwise FAQs and Guidelines and get yourself updated since you are returning after a long gap.

What Dr. Rao has stated is what was put in that very thread, with the link he has given for the articles section. There are also guidelines near the 'Article Body' box which you should read before submitting an article.

Thank you very much Mr. Umesh, Mr. Dr N V Srinivasa Rao and Vandana madam. I got the answer to my question. A link shared by Vandana Madam I came to know that for some topics like admission, announcement, etc, an article of 300 words is also accepted.

    Thank you very much again.

    Honesty is the best policy.
