    Topic based Thread of the Week contest for Feb '23 -topic- 'Reading'- Winners

    The topic based Thread of the Week contest for the month of Feb '23 on the topic Reading had received entries touching upon the topic from different perspectives and was quite well received. We are announcing the winners-

    1. Shampa Sadhya for the thread Implications of reading should be noteworthy and

    2. Annu Yadav for her thread Reading is an art to be successful

    Special Prizes

    1. Venkiteswaran for the thread A child reads faces and minds before reading alphabets

    2. Neelam for her thread Reading books is getting replaced by listening to audio books and podcasts and

    3. Sarojah for her thread News reading and news readers then and now

    The winners will receive a cash reward of Rs 100/- with 100 points each and the special prize winners will receive Rs 50/- and 50 points each. All the other threads also will be suitably rewarded.

    As announced, it has been also decided to give awards for two best responses and the winners are –

    1. Bhavani for her response to the thread Reading between the lines is also important by Dr N.V.Srinivasa Rao and

    2. Umesh for his response to the thread Reading right, succeeding brightly- beware of misleading sight' by Neethu.

    The best responses will be given a reward of Rs 25/- each. Other eligible responses may also be awarded enhanced points and cc.

    This time there were many entries for this month end topic based TOW contest. The members covered various aspects of using the word reading and some entries were really very interesting and very informative.
    I thank ISC for my award and especially thank for enhancing the number of awards and at the same time take this opportunity to congratulate all other awardees who have been awarded under respective categories. Well done members and keep contributing your good work in this portal.

    My hearty congratulations to the best 'readers', that is the winners of 'TOW - reading' - Shampa Sadhya, Annu Yadhav (winners), Venkiteswaran, Neelam and Saroja (special prize winners), Bhavani and Umesh for best responses.
    The dragging the responsing persons also in the winning list is a speciality in ISC and I thank for this novel idea.
