How many days do we get editor's response ?

I am interested in writing articles on education and have already written three, but I am still waiting for a response from the editor. However, due to the lack of feedback, I am hesitant to write more. Can you please guide me on how to proceed with writing more articles and improve my chances of receiving a response from the editor?

    Indu Singh,

I had a quick glance at the articles under new submissions. Only one article submitted by you is there, on the topic of problematic children. This was submitted just two days ago, so it is not that it has not been reviewed by the editors for many days. Generally, it may take 4 days for an article to review.

Note two things- such queries should not be submitted in the AE section. Secondly, have you gone through the articles submission guidelines thoroughly? It does not seem that you have done so. Please submit articles adhering to the guidelines, with no copied text/images, and present it properly with headings using the relevant HTML tags, and so on. Have a look at other articles that have been submitted so that you will understand what is required, and submit on topics related to the new niche on academics.

Writing articles and getting them published is one of the best activities in ISC as it fetches good points and cc also. As the site is focused on educational matters so it is imperative that we must write using relevant matters.
What I would suggest is please go through some good articles in ISC and see their quality and try to come up to that standard. If the article is not up to that standard then sometimes it may be kept in pending category and the author would be asked to modify it suitably. So we have to make corrections and do the needful and then resubmit.
As regards the response by the editors it varies because there are limited number of editors and there are many contributions made by the members and editors have to check each and every contribution and it takes time in that process.
Moreover editors are working voluntarily in this site and we cannot insist them to check and give feedback on our contributions as per our timeline.
In some cases, I have got response in 2-3 days but sometimes we get it in 8-10 days also. In fact it depends on many factors like availablity of editors at that point of time and then the volume of contributions pending at that time.
I think if one has potential to write good quality articles then one should not worry for the response time and go on contributing and then they would get reviewed gradually one by one.

    Knowledge is power.

These days the response from the editors in the articles section is quick only and generally within 3 to 4 days we are getting a response. This is my observation and experience. In earlier days many new articles used to be there and those days they were taking a maximum of 7 days. But now it is reduced. If we adhere to the rules and regulations stipulated on the site and if there are no grammar and other mistakes, the article will be accepted maximum of 4 to 5 days.
Now the articles we submit should be related to education and academics. The articles related to other areas can be submitted to their sister website called Social Village. You can go through the following two links so that you will get clarity on article writing.
