    Request to re-join as an Editor

    Dear Tony Sir (Webmaster) / Vandana Madam ( Managing Editor)

    I am working with ISC from 2010 under your esteemed management and also I worked as forum editor from 01.03.2011 to 30.10.2013. Due to lack of time, I had not continued editor work.

    Now, I can give time to do this, if you give me a chance to work as a forum editor and I have experience in ask expert section as a contributor. Please check my profile for contributions.

    Thank you for your keenness to rejoin as an Editor. Right now we do not have an immediate requirement for an additional editor, but we will keep you in mind when such a requirement comes up. Also, as and when the sister site SocialVillage.in starts earning revenue, we may consider you for an editorial position at that site.

    One thing I forgot to ask- would you be willing to work on content development behind the scenes? Since we are moving towards a new niche, we may require an extra pair of hands there. If you have time for it, then I will have a word with Tony Sir about it and accordingly then assign a task for you.

    For the new niche, please refer to the link that I gave you in your own thread while welcoming you back. It is basically moving towards an education-oriented portal. Hence, a few of the initial steps towards this was to (a) stop accepting articles that are non-academic in nature; and (b) stop AE queries related to health, finance, etc, and only those related to admissions, careers, etc.

    As for CPC and whatnot, just forget about any "highs" as of now. Since the last 3-4 years, revenue for many site owners/bloggers across the world, AdSense earnings have drastically dipped and are practically down to a few cents. That is why the admin. feels that perhaps focusing on a single niche here, namely, education may help improve revenue.

    Note- we are very informal here, so no need to address me as "ma'am". It is just fine to address me by name when required.
