Some cute and tiny dates

Usually I share palindrome dates or numbers here. But today I thought of sharing these cute dates.

Yesterday was 12/3/23. If we write it as 12323, it is ready to run.

Tomorrow being 14/3 in some parts of the globe it is Pi day as it is the first 3 digits of the value of pi that is 22/7 which is 3.14 (date written as 3/14) and being Pi day is declared as holiday in some parts of the world to promote mathematics and people celebrate with pie.

In between comes today 13/3/23. If we write it in the format of month/date/year as 3/13/23 you will find that it is series n, n+10, n+20 mathematically represented. These kind of fascinating exercises can help to promote interest in numbers and thereby mathematics among children.

So members let us enjoy and celebrate Pi day.

Today is Pi day as per the post from the author. I wish all mathematics-loving members of this site a happy pie day. Pi is actually 22/7 which is almost equivalent to 3.14. Today is the 14th of the 3rd month of 2023. So today is 3.14 and hence a pie day.
Pi is having a very useful role in mathematics, especially in trigonometry. Even in Physics as well as chemistry also this will be having some importance.

Mathematics is a very interesting subject and sometimes Mathematics is fun also. There are many fun activities in Mathematics like attributing dates to some interesting entity or checking for palindromic and other interesting patterns in the dates or years or even some series in Mathematics.
Pi is one of the most talked about number and is actually the ratio of circumference of a circle to its diameter. If the radius of the circle is r then diameter becomes 2 x r and the circumference becomes 2 x Pi x r, commonly written as 2Pir.
Interesting thing about Pi is that it cannot be written in finite decimal as it does not terminate at a point and continues ahead like other irrational numbers. So it is approximated by 3.14 which is the approximate value upto two decimal places.
It will be pertinent to mention here that the area of a circle is also related to Pi as area is equal to Pi r^2 (Pi multiplied by r square).
