Deletion of these two words is haunting me

As a person born in a Bengali family, since my childhood, I have learnt that 'babu' means gentleman. If I address someone as 'Ram-babu', this means 'Ram the gentleman'. It is similar to adding 'sir' after the name of a particular person, which all of us do very frequently.

When I started learning English, my parents used to tell me that the word 'beautiful' means 'pretty'. When I started reading Grimm's' Fairy Tales, I found that almost all the girls in these stories (Snow White, Cinderella, etc.) were very beautiful. Nobody told me that this word may be considered objectionable.

But now, I understand that these two words are so objectionable that these words can be deleted. Yes, I am not joking. ISC management has deleted the word 'babu' in response #770392. ISC management has again deleted the word 'beautiful' in my response #770393. In this case, I also received a censure which stated: "Edited- The author is once again advised to be careful while enjoying his love for adjectives."

Deletion of these two completely harmless words is haunting me. I am totally flabbergasted!

Members! Kindly explain the issue clearly to me. Has the usage of these two words been changed very recently?

The words may be harmless, but if needlessly used (not really required/out of context) will have been removed by a forum editor. We have instructed another member too, to avoid, over usage of adjectives and adverbs.

If I am not mistaken, we have often enough requested members not to use a salutation since we are informal here and would like to keep it that way. So the 'Sir', 'Madam', 'Babu', and the like can be avoided when not really required to do so (we sometimes use them, for example, when addressing the Webmasters, but out of context usage while referring to a member is not required).
