    Do you believe in Fate?

Fate is the idea that events are predetermined and unavoidable, often control by some higher power or force. The concept of fate has been debated for centuries, with some believing that it plays a significant role in shaping our lives, while others argue that we have control over our destiny through free will.
Those who believe in fate suggest that our lives are predetermined by some external force or power, and that the events that happen to us are ultimately beyond our control. For example, some may believe that certain people are destined to meet and fall in love, or that certain events are meant to happen in a particular order to fulfill a grand plan.
On the other hand, those who believe in free will argue that we have the ability to shape our own lives and determine our own path. While there may be some external factors that influence us, we ultimately have the power to make our own choices and decisions that shape our future.
Ultimately, whether or not fate plays a significant role in our lives is a matter of personal belief. Some people find comfort in the idea that there is a higher power guiding their lives, while others prefer to take full responsibility for their own destiny.
Do you believe in fate?I see some people working hard, but they struggle a lot, while others are born into privileged circumstances and have had advantages from the beginning."

Obviously I believe fate as we are all facing unexpected good and bad things daily. We do not get some thing which we planned to get and sometimes we get something which we do not expect or even dreamt. Our beloved one leaving us suddenly and without expecting a new person comes into our life. We are seeing love marriages and divorces in nowadays but earlier a lady or person from unknown place become wife or husband and they live many more years with mutual understanding but many love marriages are ending in divorce.
A friend of my wife used to tell us that she would marry only a person of living in local area as she did not want to leave her parents after marriage, as she is the only siblings. But when the alliance came to settle she married an army officer and got settled in Arunachal Pradesh.
A girl, friend of my student, was very particular in marrying an USA living bridegroom. As she was very fond daughter, her parents select a boy from USA working in a software concern. After six months of her marriage she came back to India and on that news my student asked me to take her to her friend's house. When we reached there we got a news that she came to India and settled in Chennai as her husband lost his job in USA.
By seeing all such things how can one live without believing 'fate'?

The concept of fate is very complex. Fate is a mysterious entity as no one can predict and guess it.
The only confusion or doubt about the concept of fate is that whatever has happened is as per the fate of a person and that is acceptable because that is known to us but what about the future? The fate of a person in future is an unknown entity and we cannot find out that until one day we reach at that point of time in future.
Believing in destiny is good as it makes us free from mental exertions. Whatever happens we accept it. Life becomes easy.

    Knowledge is power.

Fate or God or destiny is something where we can peg our failures or disappointments that happened beyond our control. Though the same can be applied to successes and achievements generally people ascribe failures and unfavourable happenings to fate. They proudly take up responsibility and credit for any success or achievement. That is the real irony of human behaviour.

We need a whipping boy for al the negatives occurring to us. We have thus found Fate a very convenient one for that.

My principle is 'Pray to God, Oh sailor, but row towards the shore". We have to do our best and then leave it to God or Fate. The same philosophy of Bhagavad Gita" Karmanyevaadhikaarashthe, maa phaleshu kadaachana...." Do your duty sincerely and do your best, and leave the rest to fate...

The entire universe is under the control of a supernatural power. You may call it God or nature or something else. The actions and their outcome will go as per the design or planning of this supernatural power only. So our success or failure is also predetermined by Him/Her only. Every step of us is as per His/ Her planning only.
I know a man who was a Director in a corporate, attended the office in the morning and came back in the evening with no job. He could not get another job also. His salary was almost a crore of rupees per year yesterday. But today he has no job. Many people may say many reasons for this but I say it is fate only.
There is a problem with his vision and went to one of the best hospitals and returned back in the evening with no vision. The matter was discussed with the doctor, He says the drops they placed in the eyes gave a reaction and that happened. It is a very rare issue and in one in a million cases it may happen, he says. Again I say it is fate only. I strongly believe in fate.
I agree with Venkiteswaran, " " Karmanyevaadhikaarashthe, maa phaleshu kadaachana...." Do your duty sincerely and to your best; and leave the rest to fate..."

Fate is a widely discussed topic among people. Almost everyone is curious to know about fate. What is it and how it shapes the lives of people? I believe the fate of people is already decided by the almighty. Since people don't know what they are going to face next moment or in life so they have to work hard and leave results to the almighty. And what will be yours will rush towards you and anything that is not destined for you will not reach you even if you work endlessly in life.

Mostly people cherish the happy moments in life only and are not ready to face difficulties or any disliking that are destined. The basic hack to living a peaceful life is to work hard and leave results to the almighty. If anything that you wished is not coming your way, don't depress yourself for that. Either that may not be fit for you or something better would be destined for you.
