Have you ever seen a hailstorm?

Solid rain made up of balls or lumps of ice is known as hail. Hailstorms will produce these hails which reach the ground. These hails will get liquified within 15 minutes after reaching the ground. They may cause injuries to vehicles. crops and people.

These hailstorms are very common in places where the day temperatures are very low. But in places like Hyderabad where the temperatures are very high, we rarely see such hailstorms. Hailstorms are common in mountain ranges too.

For the last 2 or 3 days in many places of Telangana, we are seeing hail storms. Yesterday night around 1 a.m. we had a hail storm in our area. This is the first time I witnessed a hailstorm in Hyderabad. Have you ever seen a hailstorm anytime?

I don't have directly experience weather phenomena like hailstorms. However, I have been read information about hailstorms.
Hailstorms are severe weather events that can occur when thunderstorms produce strong updrafts that carry raindrops high into the atmosphere. As these raindrops are carried higher and higher, they freeze into ice pellets due to the colder temperatures at higher altitudes. When these ice pellets become too heavy to be supported by the updrafts, they fall to the ground as hail.
Hailstones can range in size from small, pea-sized to large, grapefruit-sized. Hailstorms can be dangerous and can cause damage to crops, vehicles, and buildings, as well as pose a threat to human safety if the hailstones are large enough.

I live in Rampura which is a suburban area of the Neemuch district of Madhya Pradesh. There is an Aravali mountain range and also a ringwall where water is stored for Chambal Dam. So, there is very cold in the winter season and very hot in the summer season. We have witnessed this type of hailstorm every year. Presently 2 days ago there are hailstorms in Rampura and nearby places. So, it is common in our area and we are habitual of hailstorms. We also want to eat these balls of ice and enjoy them.

During my school days when I was living in a hilly place then during the winter we used to have snow fall and heavy rains. Sometimes the wind also blew fiercely.
Once we had a very bad weather and I do not know whether it falls in that category but there was like hailstorm condition and it created a lot of problems like many roofs were blown out. Many trees were uprooted and branches of other trees were broken. Schools and offices were closed for 2-3 days. The storm created a big disturbance in that area.

    Knowledge is power.

For me, Hailstorm is a very common occurrence as I am from a hilly area; whenever there is a heavy downpour, it is most of the time accomplished by a hailstorm. It ruins local agriculture and injures people and small kaccha houses. There are various stories about hailstorms and snow in hilly regions. For, e.g., my grandmother told me once that when in the clouds mother of Hailstorm tells him to go as fast as he can and ruin everything on the way and cause as much damage as it can, whereas the mother of snow tells him to go as smoothly as it can like a light feather and don't trouble anyone, It does not have any meaning as such or maybe it has I don't know but this is the story she told me about the birth of hailstorm and snow.

For me, hailstorms are a natural weather occurrence that can be both fascinating and dangerous. Their occurrence is a result of specific atmospheric conditions and thunderstorm development, and they can have significant economic and safety implications.
