    Did you try any of the tough tongue twisters at any time?

    We have all heard about tongue-twisting sentences. There will be such sentences in all languages. Tongue twisters pronunciation is difficult even in our mother tongue. Generally, these sentences will have similar words in a sequence which differ in certain syllables. Some will have very abnormal sentences. We may require more concentration and attention to spell these sentences correctly and quickly. Many professional actors, and singers. TV artists and professional speakers use these tongue twisters for the articulation of their voices.

    The Guinness Book of World Records recorded 'The sixth sick sheikh's sixth sheep's sick' as the world's toughest tongue twister. As per some famous research institutes, the most difficult tongue twister is, "Pad kid poured curd pulled cod." Of course, there may be some difficult and famous tongue twisters also in your mother tongue. Did you try any of the tough tongue twisters at any time?

    Tongue twisters are set of words in a sentence which is a challenge to pronounce in a flow. These tongue twisters are generally used for fun and amusement.
    In every language tongue twisters are there. They are generally used by people for testing the ability of the people in some respect. There are many tongue twisters in Hindi also. I will present one out of that -
    Kacche ped par pakka papita, pakka ped ya pakka papita, pakke ped ko pakde Pinku, Pinku pakde pakka papita.

    Tongue twisters are normally used to exhibit the grip of the users with some difficult words to be pronounced very efficiently in the right moment. Familiarity of complex words is not that much achievement but using these words in the appropriate sense matters a lot. We must take pains to learn some more tongue twisters to be used in the fitting situations.

    In every modern language, there are several tongue-twisters available. In ISC, we discussed it earlier quite often. I could find at least four Forum posts on this topic by a simple search.

    However, I thank Dr. Rao sir for the interesting information provided by him on tongue-twisters.
