Is our Prime Minister being considered for Nobel Peace prize?

Only a few days back, we read/heard the news that our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is a strong contender for the Nobel Peace prize for 2024. But later we came to know that Mr Asle Toje, Deputy Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, dismissed this, saying it was fake news.

Earlier also, we had seen fake news and rumours regarding the Nobel prize. Maximum rumours are in respect of nominations for the Nobel Peace prize and the Nobel prize for literature. For example, just on the eve of 2023, some Indians with destructive agenda floated a rumour regarding nomination for the Peace prize for a so-called 'fact-checker' of extremely controversial antecedents.

We all know that the nomination for Nobel Prize is a closely-guarded secret. However, if the Ukraine-Russia war stops in 2023 and Shri Modi plays a significant role in the negotiation process, his name will definitely be considered for the Peace prize.

I will be very happy if our Prime Minister is nominated. As a common Indian, I will be elated if Shri Narendra Modi gets the coveted Nobel Peace prize. In that case, I will also be curious to know how the entire 'ecosystem' would react to belittle the achievement and honour.

    What is your opinion?

There are very few leaders in the world who can make an international mark and place for themselves through helping the other countries during time of disasters. Such leaders also resort to friendship trade practices and relations with other countries depending on the surplus items which some countries are producing. Such trade practices are also considered in the nature of help only because we are helping many other countries to offload their extra production to other countries who are willing to share it in lieu of some other items. All these are cordial moves for betterment of the whole world and making good ties with each other. There is no doubt that Mr Modi is having all these qualities in him and he is making a place in the world news today in respect of these characteristics which are very rare in ordinary leaders.
There was some news in the media that he could be a person to be considered for nobel peace prize but until unless we get news from some authentic source we should not believe in it.
It is obvious that Indian citizens will be very happy if Mr Modi gets a prize of that level and it will be a matter of great honour for the country. Let us see the list of nominations for the coveted Nobel Peace Prize and if the name of Mr Modi reflects there then it would be a matter of great rejoice for all of us.

As far as we know that Mr. Modi is a successful diplomat and knows how to extend help to our neighbours which we have already seen in case of Sri Lanka, Nepal and other adjoining countries. He has the excellent communication skills to impress most of the countries through his convincing efforts and has made his unique place in the world as a successful politician.
Of course, peace is definitely essential so that there is no dislocation of the ongoing plans being undertaken by the different countries but unfortunately war between Russia and Ukraine has spread out since March last year causing heavy casualties and wastage of resources to both the countries. In this respect, the loss of Ukraine is incalculable and it is a irreparable loss, though Russia is no more better but still, it can manage the crisis if war ends.
Mr. Modi can take up a constructive role in the normalisation of this strained relationship and might win the Noble Prize of peace. Let us see what happens in the upcoming time.

Noble Prize is considered the best award one can get in this world. There were some Indians who won noble prizes in other areas like literature, chemistry, physics, Economics and peace. Mother Teresa won the Noble Prize in the category of Peace in 1979. Then Kailash Satyarthi was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014.
As mentioned by the author, Modiji's name was heard for the Noble peace prize but later on, it was mentioned that it was a piece of fake news. Anyhow, as an Indian I always feel happy if any Indian gets a Noble prize. A person like Modi brings laurels to the country if he wins the prize.
Modi made an excellent mark internationally and he brought value to our country. The US president admired Modi many times for his achievement. Many top politicians in the world felt that Modi is the only person who can stop the war between Russia and Ukriane. So anything may happen.
His decision to help Turkey also when there was a natural calamity in that country proved that he is a man who will be ready to help anybody in case of emergency and need. So there are chances for him to win the award and I feel extremely happy if was given the noble peace prize.

As we know,The Nobel Prize is one of the most prestigious awards, and it is awarded to individuals or organizations that have made significant contributions in the fields of physics, chemistry, medicine, literature, peace, and economic sciences. The Nobel Prize Committee selects the person based on their achievements and merits, and the process is highly confidential. While the Prime Minister of India may have made contributions in various fields, it is ultimately up to the Nobel Committee to decide who receives the prize. But,in my opinion he
is a competent candidate to receive the Nobel Prize.

Service to mankind is service to God.

Politics apart, I too will be very happy if our Prime Minister is nominated. Shri. N Modi has all the characters of a peace keeping person from his PM days till now. He is an influencer, humanitarian, a good orator and moreover an internationally acclaimed figure who is known for his peace/hug diplomacy. I strongly believe he is a good contender and I will vote for my PM.

    Jai Hind.
