Malnutrition, may not be visible at the moment but it is there.

Malnutrition is a big problem, there is no doubt about it. The government also takes steps in the direction of malnutrition and is continuously taking them. But is malnutrition limited only to this? Many parents are giving malnutrition to their children in the name of nutrition, is it not wrong? Is it because of ignorance, show-off, or the stubbornness of children? Whatever may be the reason, its result is giving a negative impact on the health of the children in every way. I am not specifying any particular product or junk food here, but we all are aware of these things. How to teach children to be health conscious? In this direction, parents, institutions, schools, etc. must work together to find some measures because it is really a matter of concern.

Good food habits in the house and the family members will make children also learn about good food habits. We all know that children learn from the elders in the family by seeing them and following them. When the father eats junk food in the presence of his children, they will also try to taste the same and get habituated to the same type of food. So parents should stop eating junk food and other fast foods which are not good for their health and they should teach their children about the problems a person may face if they eat such food. This is the best way.
These days we are getting many short videos in which the effects of junk foods and unhealthy diets are shown very clearly. We can show such videos to them. We should not allow school-going children to carry money and purchase outside food. If necessary we should purchase and give them.
In schools also teachers should tell the importance of healthy food and see that children may follow their instructions. During the midday meal, the concerned teachers should tell the students about the food that is being served to them and how nutritious the same is. That will make the students understand the value of nutritious food.

Today, junk food has become a big health threat and people are appearing totally ignorant about it. When parents are not bothered about this then how can they stop their children for not consuming it.
Junk food generally have high amount of oil and some special spices which are very attractive especially for the children. We are habitual of Indian spices and it is natural that if some dish is offered to us having Chinese or Italian spices then we would see a change and might get attracted to it. Many foreign dishes have become popular in our country because of use of different spices in them.
Young generation today takes all the junk food in a very normal manner and there is no one to guide them correctly in the matter.

    Knowledge is power.
