Health benefits of common kitchen items-1: Turmeric
In our country we use a variety of items in our kitchen especially spices. Some of these are very good for our health as these contain certain special minerals and other important materials.One of the most common spice used in our houses is turmeric. It is a spice which gives a yellow colour to our dishes. The main ingredient in turmeric that is good for our health is Curcumin which has powerful anti-inflammatory and strong antioxidant properties. In old times people used and applied turmeric paste for healing the wounds.
Some people take it with milk to derive it's health benefits. Raw turmeric is said to be good for throat ailments.
