It is true that Bihar has faced several challenges in providing quality education to its students. There are even students who cant read and write in the age group below 10. The issue of teacher absenteeism is also evident in schools in Bihar.

However, as mentioned in the statement, there have been government initiatives and interventions to improve the situation. The Bihar government has launched several programs such as 'Mission Gunvatta' and the 'Bihar Education Project' to improve the quality of education in the state. The initiatives aim to address the issues of teacher training, infrastructure, and curriculum development.

It is also important to recognize the efforts and achievements of the students in Bihar. Despite the challenges they face, many students in Bihar have excelled in various fields and have made notable contributions to society. Most of the talent pool is moving to Delhi even for UPSC exam preparation and many of them are in Govt. services too

In summary, while there have been challenges in providing quality education in Bihar, efforts are being made to address them. It is crucial to continue working towards improving the education system and providing opportunities for students to succeed.

What the author has pointed out is fitting in the current situation but if we go by the past trends of the results of Bihar School Examination Board prior to 1995, the scenarios were different. Agreed that the highlight percentage in terms of scoring of candidates in this board never exceeded beyond 85 percent those days where as the students of CBSE Curriculum were lucky to have got approaching 98 percent of marks. The aspirants of Bihar Board lacked the liberal system of markings on those days.
The aspirants having passed out from Bihar Board are in the prestigious positions in the different sectors including their absorption in IAS and IPS with their painstaking efforts.
Of late, we have seen the downward trend in the quality of education of the common students due to absenteeism of the teachers/ less strength of the competent teachers.
The initiative has been taken up for there enforcement of the infrastructure, imparting quality training to the teachers and other aids to promote the efficiency of the teachers.
Let us all the current steps taken by the state government would revive the lost glory.

I have seen many Biharis in Hyderabad, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh and many of them are working as daily wage workers in many industries in these places. They are not educated and they come to these places to earn their livelihood. That made me think that the conditions there are not encouraging the people to go for education,
This is good to know that the Bihar government has brought out good initiatives to improve the education quality in the state. But the scheme should be implemented in true spirits and people should get benefit out of it. I think we will see good improvement in the coming days.

In any state if the governance is not good then many faculties are affected adversely and education is one of them. In Bihar for a long time the governance was questionable as rampant corruption and poor administration was found by the law enforcing agencies is the biggest negative thing in Bihar.
If teachers themselves are not disciplined then what can be expected from the students.
What is required in Bihar today is honest politicians on the top who can clean the system and bring things to normal.
