Amelioration in anything in our hands only

Many of us try to improve or correct others rather than correcting themselves.
Spritual Gurus often tells us to have self realisation is God realisation.

I went to a canteen of a hospital, there I asked for a coffee. They gave coffee in a paper cup. If it is moving place means okey in supplying coffee or tea. As I have second thought of taking coffee/tea in paper cups, I asked the canteen person whether they can give a stainless steel tumbler. She told the reason for not having stainless-steel tumbler made me to shock. She told people from outside takes away the tumblers by saying they brought from home. Secondly customers left the tumblers in any coror after drinking coffee/tea.

Similar things we see daily around us. The beauty in this is we did everything but accusing others or Government.
So the need of amelioration in in our hand.

A thought provoking post by the author. If we want improvement in us or around us or in anything in this world then we must also contribute ourselves and simply don't look to others for it. There are small contributions which make a big difference.
Two days back I went to a temple for darshan of Ma Durga and one of the devotees there was offering sweet lassi to everyone in the disposable cups. People visiting the temple were enjoying prasadam and this lassi and everyone was very happy about it. Suddenly one senior person asked that devotee that we should have some arrangement for throwing these paper cups as people were keeping them here and there in a scattered way and it looked shabby.
The dust bins were already full as many people were visiting that temple since morning. The devotee got the point and went to the priest and arranged a big plastic bag and asked people to put the used cups in that. This small contribution made the place neat and tidy.
So many things are in our range and only thing is we should have a will to do that.

Knowledge is power.

Yes. I agree with the author. To raise or fall is in the hands of the individual only. You are the architecture of your own life. Our wisdom and willingness to work hard will only make us prosper in our lives. One should have the intention to change for the better and should be ready to do self-analysis and address the areas where there is a requirement for modification and improvement.
Our ancestors may give us some wealth and we may acquire some qualifications and start earning. But our actions will decide whether the wealth given by our ancestors will diminish or increase.
