What could be the reasons for that?

Seeing today's exhaustive syllabus in schools and colleges it is obvious that students who are studying there have to work hard and do a lot of studies so that they can get good scores in their examinations and then make a good educational career which will ultimately be leading to a career in job and profession.
I have observed that some students work very hard while some work hard and there are a few who do not work hard and rather do selective studies and take a chance. So the last category of the students is basically taking chances and probably they are not interested for good scores as they have already set in their minds that they will be joining the family business or some other self employment option.
Now between the first two categories there is a good difference of hours of studies and generally the first category devotes i 7-8 hours for studies while the second category does it only 4-5 hours but in many cases their scores are in almost same range.
In your opinion what could the reasons for it? Putting different amount of efforts but getting almost same result. Please share your views.

Hard work and intelligence are the two important parameters that contribute to the success of an individual. Among these two qualities working hard is in the hands of the individual. Intelligence may come from the genes of the parents. This intelligence may improve over some time and varies from person to person. There is another aspect which is called Luck. This luck factor is not at all in the hands of the individuals. It may be God's gift.
That is why. efforts of individuals will not result in the same proportion.
Kauravas are more in number and there are very great warriors in their team. Drona. Bhishma and Karna are very capable and they are no way less than Arjuna. But Kauravas lost and Pandavas win. What made the difference? That is why we should believe in doing our work without expecting any result. Whatever due to us will come.

The author has raised a very interesting topic indicating that putting even less hours as compared to the aspirants fully devoted to their studies for long hours are trailing behind the former students. Naturally it comes in our minds why such situation develops of the two different results.
Let us understand the root cause behind the difference. Former category would apply their minds to understand the basics of the chapter and formate some ways to remember the essence of subjects with their innovative ways. Their efforts are the combination of both labour proportionate to the chapters and applications of their own minds to excel in the examinations but the later categories believe in the hard work without the consideration of clearing the fundamental concepts.
Hence the difference between the two categories are obviously visible.

The purpose of an exhaustive syllabus in school is to provide a clear and comprehensive outline of the topics, concepts, and skills that students are expected to learn throughout the course. The syllabus helps to establish clear expectations for both the students and the teacher, and serves as a roadmap for the entire learning experience.
An exhaustive syllabus ensures that students have a complete understanding of the subject matter, as it covers all the relevant topics and subtopics that are essential for a thorough understanding of the subject. By providing a complete overview of the course, the syllabus helps students to organize their learning and prioritize their efforts, so that they can focus on mastering the most important concepts first.
In addition, an exhaustive syllabus can also serve as a tool for assessment and evaluation. By clearly outlining the learning objectives and expectations, teachers can create assessments that accurately measure student progress and mastery of the material. This can help teachers to identify areas where students may need additional support or instruction, and to adjust their teaching methods accordingly. papers, articles, forums, and courses, which can help students and teachers.

Service to mankind is service to God.
