2023 April Reward Programs- taking a pause, supporting ISC

Dear members,

As you know, the admin. has issued a notification about pausing the revenue-sharing bonus scheme for sections other than for the Knowledge Centre. Similarly, we are pausing all contests and weekly/monthly reward programs for the month of April. We may resume it later, but in which month we cannot give a definite confirmation.

ISC has given us a wonderful platform to earn through cash credits for content, reward programs, and awards, and, for some of us, AdSense earnings as well. Years ago, the admin. even started sharing the revenue it earns (this was the most generous gesture on the part of the Webmasters).

Hope you all understand and support ISC in its current challenging times just as we have been doing so when it was doing well.

That is OK. When the organisation is doing well all the stakeholders will get benefitted. At the same time when the organisation is in a difficult situation, the stakeholders should be ready to sacrifice and cooperate with the management so that the performance of the organisation will improve.
Vandana has mentioned that the reward programmes and contests will be stopped temporarily for April and when they will restart will be informed. That may not be an issue. All the members should concentrate on KC and see that traffic will improve.
The management should also try various means and ways to improve the quality of the site so that more traffic will be improved. Some members will participate only in contests and not participate actively in other sections. Such members should also try and participate in KC and see that the performance of the site will improve.

Members also have a moral responsibility to support ISC in the adverse time and I hope that we all will continue to contribute during the month of April 2023 preferably in the knowledge centre and but in general in other sections also and I am sure this phase will be over soon.

Knowledge is power.

Let us treat April or May also as Summer vacation months in ISC also.

In my response in this thread I had noted, "Hope the members also get oriented and aligned to the same direction as early as possible."

For many, a sudden shift and change may not be easy and instant. However, members also will assimilate the needed essential changes (may be gradually) and ultimately orient and align themselves towards the new directional path and absorb the related changes-plus or minus, pros or cons.

Welcoming the decision, however not a good time to join back ISC I feel as a new joinee in terms of CC. However, taking this as an opportunity to bring back the real power of one of the leading educational websites in India. My whole hearted support. Wishing you all the best!
