    Elon Musk has clearly understood

Today morning the first news-item which I read states that the famous (infamous) New York Times (NYT) is going to lose its Twitter-verified Badge as the Twitter-owner, Elon Musk calls It "Propaganda". Elon Musk slammed NYT on Sunday while the platform (Twitter) transitioned to a paid verification scheme.

Elon Musk has written a series of Tweets targeting NYT on Sunday (yesterday). One of his Tweets states: "The real tragedy of @NYTimes is that their propaganda isn't even interesting". Musk also called NYT's main feed the "equivalent of diarrhea" and "unreadable."

I am very much impressed by the astuteness of Elon Musk. It is really great how quickly he could feel the pulse of an organisation.

I wonder what would be reaction of India's NYT-loving liberals on this issue. I am also thinking about the fate of another favourite of India's liberals, i.e. Washington Post (WaPo).

After taking over Twitter Elon Musk has done many organisational changes in Twitter and there has been a good restructuring in it. Elon Musk must have gone through all the news that is published in NYT about Twitter and some of that might not be in line with Elon Musk ideas. That could be one reason why he is so aggressive on NYT and removing it from Twitter premises .
NYT is well known for its spicy and provocative posts and many people do not like that. But NYT would be doing it due to its political affiliations or other reasons.

Elon Musk is always there in the news. Twitter removed the verified badge after NYT told that it will not pay for this badge. Twitter has decided to give the badge to anyone who pays for it. Twitter is looking for money as advertising revenues have come down and it is in debt. Twitter Blue will cost users about $8 a month, while businesses wanting verification will be charged $1,000 a month. Whoever is not interested to pay this money may lose the badge.
We may expect many more changes in the policies of Twitter. NYT is well known for its political affiliations.

Elon Musk is known for his outspoken nature on social media and is not shy about expressing his opinions, even if they are controversial. The decision to remove NYT's Twitter verification badge is ultimately up to Twitter and its policies.

Regarding the reaction of India's NYT-loving liberals and the fate of Washington Post, it is difficult to predict how individuals or groups will react to this news. It is important to remember that everyone has their own perspectives and opinions, and it is natural for people to have differing views on various topics. Ultimately, it is up to each individual to form their own opinions based on the available information and their personal beliefs.

I hope that Elon Musk get the same "quick pulse" about some organization that we have in India, whose only mission is to peddle and propagate fake news. One of the medium that quickly comes to my mind is OpIndia.

I have read the valuable comments of the Members who have read this and responded to this Forum post. So far as comment made by respected Neethu Maam is concerned, I feel that when Mr. Musk turns his attention to the Indian tweeter handles, he would find many handles like The Wire, The Quint, Satya Hindi, Janta ka Reporter, SDPI, AIMIM and Twitter handles of some religious organizations from North and Central Kerala more terrible. He would surely ban these handles. Then he would astutely handle the Twitter handles of some famous Indian liberals. Opindia will come to picture much much later.
