    YouTube Channel for ISC

    Dear Webmaster & Editors of ISC,

    In my humble opinion, it is high time for ISC to start a YouTube Channel which is the most widely used tool of google by the audience. In my limited knowledge, there is no YT channel for ISC like it is there for techulator and all. The following are the benefits if we start a YouTube channel.

    1. We can incorporate/embed video links in our post.
    2. 3D content creation possible - text, image & video
    3. General tips and guidelines for new members like me and Olufemi Hunjenukon can be shown in a video rather than reading long texts.
    4. More publicity/pageviews/backlinks
    5. Better SEO
    6. More AdSense revenue

    If there are further more benefits, other members can add.

    Please take it as a suggestion, being a new member in ISC in 2023, this is what I feel.

    ISC has a Youtube channel and the link is there under Follow Us. The link is also provided here: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCidEulJf7J9-5Zl-cP2FJEQ.

    Though the content posted there was quite old, reviving that Youtube Channel may be a good idea. The thing is to regularly update the channel with new videos on education-related topics where some dedicated persons are required to manage it. If that can be afforded that may be a good way to generate more traffic.

    Now we have Knowledge Centre, let's focus on it now and let it become a little popular. During this time, I feel concentrating on the Youtube channel will be quite difficult.

    YouTube channel for ISC is definitely a very good idea but it requires manpower and sufficient resources. Over the time ISC has been a big depository of educational information and if everything or the main part of it is to be transformed in video form and to be uploaded in that YouTube channel as a collection of videos then it will be a herculean task. Generally such tasks are carried out by the dedicated people and not by the volunteer members who are working in the site. If some members can dedicate themselves to that work then it can be considered by ISC in case they want to expand like that and it conforms with their business policies and other considerations.
    Knowledge is power.

    ISC is having a youtube channel as well as an app also. I have downloaded the same but when I am trying to log in, it says the session expired. Youtube also is not updated. Anyhow as and when needed probably the Webmaster will do the needful.

    The author has raised this thread on a relevant topic. And Sankalan Sir has provided such an information which was unknown to me.

    However, I feel that under the present circumstance, it would be really very difficult to revive the YouTube channel of ISC.

    Partha Sir,

    We can revive the YouTube channel easily if we have a good team working behind it. Am bit familiar with YouTube settings, SEO and its other functionalities. From June 2023 onwards, I can allot more time to ISC. If webmaster give me a chance that time that too with a good team, we can reap rewards from YouTube for sure!

    The thing is people (at least 70% of my generation ) nowadays don't read anything online as YouTube videos are the more popular medium and have high quality content with visual clarity & precision as per their demand. So its high time for team ISC to rethink and upgrade its wings to other platforms. This is what I feel.
