    Satyapal Malik and pulwama connection

Satyapal Malik is an Indian politician who served as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir from August 2018 to October 2019. Pulwama is a district in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir that gained international attention due to a terrorist attack that took place in February 2019.

On February 14, 2019, a convoy of vehicles carrying security personnel was attacked by a suicide bomber in Pulwama, resulting in the deaths of 40 Indian Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel. The attack was claimed by the Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed, leading to heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.

Following the attack, Satyapal Malik, who was serving as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir at the time, condemned the incident and called for swift action against the perpetrators. He also met with the families of the CRPF personnel who were killed in the attack and offered his condolences.

In the aftermath of the Pulwama attack, there were calls for a strong response from the Indian government. In February 2019, Indian Air Force carried out an airstrike on a terrorist camp in Pakistan's Balakot region, which was described as a pre-emptive strike against terrorists planning to launch attacks in India. The strike was followed by further tensions and military standoffs between India and Pakistan.

Satyapal Malik played a significant role in the response to the Pulwama attack as the Governor of Jammu and Kashmir at the time. Now in 2023 there is big secret leak about Pulwama attack and Satyapal Malik is in news for his 'Exclusive Truth'.

The bad fate or misfortune of this country is that w have many people like that of Satyapal Malik, who always score goals against town team-here against the country they live safe and sound, enjoying all the position, perks and luxuries even at the cost of lakhs of innocent, naïve citizen of this country.
They are always selfish to have benefits for themselves at any cost, even biting the hands that feed them.

They always make political and anti-national hay while the political Sun shines or not. In this they get wind and warmth from inside and outside.

As the saying goes, one cannot fool all people at all times and now or later they will stand exposed of their acts and get suitably 'rewarded". Let us hope so.

Even in this platform, some people will come out to support this Malik chap. But no one will question him on his silence on this issue for four years. Nobody will ask him why he has broken his silence now.
However, common people are now watching and enjoying the news of 'untinely' death of father and uncle after the untimely death of the beta/bhatija.

Now, who is telling the truth? Though Governors in every state are regarded as the constitutional head they are always chosen by the government in power at the centre. Time and again there is news of tussle between the state governments and the centre and at times it seems the Governor of a state is just echoing the centre like its trusted lieutenant. As long as one is abiding by the government she/he will be in the good books of the government and if differences crop up for any reason there are brickbats.

Venkiteswaran sir @#772493, I do not know why you found the comment/activities of the former Governor of J&K Satyapal Malik anti-national. Satyapal Malik has made a statement by which he is accusing the central government of lapses during the attack. Why it is anti-national and why we are so sure that he is telling a lie? There is no point in believing any political parties nowadays since they take the help of election strategists to win the elections and do not care for the people of the country. If only democratic essence were followed there wouldn't be election strategists to win the elections. Crony capitalism is rampant everywhere and the common men suffer. This is the situation everywhere in the world. The truth will never come out and this statement can become another issue during elections and nothing more than that.

Satyapal Malik started playing anti-BJP, anti-Modi role as soon as Modi-led BJP forced him to leave the limelight due to his incompetence. Immediately he has become a prized possession of anti-nationals from The Wire.
And so, this (in)famous interview of Malik with Karan Thapar.
The devilish action is remarkably simple.

Mr. Satya Pal Malik was with the BJP since 2004. He was appointed to many important posts by the BJP and also the Government of India. Mr. Malik after holding many party positions in BJP, was elevated to the post of BJP National Vice-President in 2012. The BJP party must have had immense faith in his capability when he was appointed as Governor of Bihar ( 30th.September 2017 to 23rd. August 2018), Governor of erstwhile Jammu&Kashmir State (23rd. August 2018 to 30th. October 2019), Governor of Goa(3rd. November 2019 to 18th. August 2020), and Governor of Meghalaya (18th. August 2020 to 03rd. October 2022). He made allegations about two files sent to him for approval while he was the Governor of J&K. One file is Related to Reliance General Insurance which got the contract for employees and pensioners insurance scheme. The other file was related to Kiru Hydro Electic Power Project for awarding a contract worth Rs 2200 crores to a particular company. He alleged that a Rs 300 crore bribe was offered to him to clear these files. CBI booked a case based on the allegations of the Governor. Mr. Malik was critical of the BJP while working as Governor for various States as mentioned above.

The allegations by Mr. Malik are not new ones or raised now to grab the limelight. The Union Government needs to thoroughly investigate the allegations he is making. Simply saying they are anti-BJP shows their hollowness. It has become a fashion for many to call the people who criticize the government anti-national, without checking the facts.

Under the present circumstances, it would be folly to believe the politicians having their dualities in their versions. Hence we need not be serious with their comments. How could we establish the fact that so distinguished leaders are not lying by claiming that that they are telling truth.
We have seen in the past that Mr.Malik has made very sensational news to attract the people. Whatever he is telling needs to be probed to know the realities. Proclaiming that he is anti BJP, it sounds hollow. Hence irresponsible comments will always come up but we need to examine the facts.

If he knows the truth about why he kept silent at that time. Why he is raising that issue now is a big question. Anyhow, there is nothing wrong in conducting an enquiry about the truth in what he says.
As mentioned by Sankalan, there is always friction between the CM of the State ( If he belongs to a different party in the central government) and the governor whom the central government appointed.
As long as the politicians work for their position only and not for the nation we will have problems like this only. People in Governor positions should work for the welfare of the country and people but not for a particular party.

We are now in a democracy where you will be branded as anti-national once you criticize the Prime Minister or the central government. Nationalism has been reduced to being Modi bhakts (followers). Pulwama attack was always under a cloud of doubt. Read Pulwama attack and the abrogation of Art 370 together. See the timing. If Satyapal Malik had remained silent for so long, so is the inquiry that has been ordered into the attack. One need not believe him outright but why should one disbelieve him? If we believed his praises about Shri Modi, why should we doubt his credibility now? Everything is politics and we, the common people, will have to remain as silent spectators. The Prime Minister or the then Home Minister must clarify with substantial proof that the allegations raised by Mr Satyapal Malik are false. The ball is in their court now and they are answerable to the voters.
