A primary school teacher should have tremendous patience

Teaching mature students is not as difficult as that teaching a kid in primary class. A university Professor will conduct his lecture and leaves the class. He never thinks about whether students are understanding or not. He will be of the opinion that in case of any doubt, the student will get up and express his doubt. The same is the case in colleges.

But in schools. especially in primary schools, the students may not be able to express their views clearly. So the teacher should ask questions to the students and based on their response, he has to know whether the student is following the lesson or not. If necessary, he has to tell them the lesson again in such a way that the student will understand the lesson. The teacher has to go down to the level of the student and explain the lesson to him in simple terms. That requires a lot of patience and understanding of the children's psychology.

Controlling a child and making him understand the lessons requires a lot of patience, I feel. I like to know the opinion of other members on this issue.

Yes, it is important for a primary school teacher to have tremendous patience while teaching. This is because young children are still developing their cognitive and social-emotional skills and may require additional guidance and support as they learn. A patient teacher is better able to create a safe and supportive classroom environment that encourages children to ask questions and seek help when needed. Patience also allows teachers to be more attentive to individual student needs, helping them to understand concepts at their own pace and providing additional support when required. A patient teacher can also help students develop important skills like problem-solving, conflict resolution, and empathy. By modeling these skills in the classroom, teachers can help young children to develop these qualities and apply them in their daily lives.

Patience is a key trait that helps primary school teachers to create a positive and effective learning environment for young children.

Teachers of junior levels often have to play multiple roles in the lives of their students, including that of a mother figure. This is because young children spend a significant amount of their time in school, and their teachers become important role models and caregivers.

Teachers of junior levels are responsible not only for imparting academic knowledge but also for nurturing the social and emotional development of their students. They may be called upon to provide emotional support, comfort, and guidance to their students, much like a mother would. They may also have to address the basic needs of their students, such as feeding them, attending to their personal hygiene, and ensuring their safety.

Additionally, teachers of junior levels have to be skilled in identifying and addressing the unique needs of each individual student, and creating a warm and welcoming learning environment that encourages children to explore, learn, and grow.

Overall, being a teacher of young children requires a great deal of patience, empathy, and nurturing, and often entails assuming a variety of roles, including that of a mother figure

If we see the roles of the primary teachers in their profession, we could draw ultimate conclusions that they have lot of patience to handle the innocent kids. They could not be responsive to all the queries raised by madams or male teachers. It is due to the simple fact that their cognitive skills are still in progress and it could take its own time to develop this system. They need to come very closely with each and every pupil making them understand the lessons being taken by the teachers.
This process requires patience from the side of the teachers. In this respect, madams are more skilled in their profession since they need to play their motherly roles in their households enabling them to understand the psychology of pupils in a more efficient way. At all the costs, they maintain the patience during the study- sessions. Sometimes the teachers or the madams might be fed up with the repetitive requests of the kids to visit bathrooms without any break. Even then they show maturity in handling the innocent kids.
They return their residence in the fatigued conditions but still they feel a lot of satisfaction for their involvements in the schools.

A primary school teacher has to be patient enough to tackle the children in the classroom. It is not an easy job to handle these children as they would continuously talk and cry and ask questions of all sorts. So the primary school teacher has got a very responsible and serious role to play to help those children to learn while playing and give attention to him.
    Knowledge is power.

Yes, I agree with the author that primary teachers must have tremendous patience. To be patience is the main characteristic of a teacher. A high-tempered person cannot be a good teacher. primary students have a lot of energy and do mischievous things which a common person cannot tolerate. But primary teachers are so trained that they know the psychology of the students and handle them patiently.

It is not easy to be a primary teacher. so, primary teachers need more training and guidance instead of the teachers of upper level like middle school teachers, high school or high secondary school teachers.

    Honesty is the best policy.
