Seems ISC is changing with respect to educational posts

I may be wrong but could see the way jobs and school details are posted recently soon ISC will become a job portal for education or a information hub for schools all over India.

What about posting articles, discussions, personalities, info on educational trends and so many more. Are we really moving ahead with the educational site in mind?

    If yes, well and good.
    If not, then what?

    Hello Geeta,

In the past, ISC had a variety of sections, including job and school details, which may have generated significant Google AdSense revenue for users. This could be the reason why some users are now posting large amounts of job-related content on the site. Unlike the Ask Expert section, these topics are not restricted by the admin, allowing members to post them freely. However, if ISC is intended to be an education-focused platform, it should prioritize content related to this niche. Ultimately, the site's direction should be guided by its mission and goals, adapting to the needs of its users and the broader educational landscape. It is crucial for the site to remain responsive to changes while staying true to its core values and purpose.

Geeta, where is the confusion? The change started two years ago when ISC began focusing on its new niche. Google modified its algorithm and accordingly, for a website to perform well in terms of search engine ranking it has to focus on something specific. Therefore, when the focus is on education/admission/courses the website must choose the topics accordingly. The Knowledge Centre is a new addition and the remaining active sections are modified accordingly.

You can still post articles on topics related to education, take part in Forum discussions and post on educational trends. Are you talking about film personalities/important personalities? For that, you can post in Social Village.

Geeta, may I once again suggest you to read and understand the points in this thread and also go through the other related red pinned threads? I don't think there is any room for confusion.

When a change is planned, it is very common for all the people involved to get some doubts. But there will be a team monitoring the process and trying to see that the whole thing will not go out of track. There is nothing right or nothing wrong. We need not think so much. Let us follow the guidelines and go ahead. I think over a period of time everything will evolve and we will enjoy the benefits. Let us be positive and follow the guidelines.
