ISC Badges- it’s time to announce the winners!

From time to time new features are added and some others are removed keeping in mind the changing circumstances. Still, the contributions of the members are always essential for the existence of a superb platform like ISC.

A badge on the profile page adds a special flavour. Some of you who have joined recently may not be aware of the Badges feature but I hope this announcement will make you enthusiastic enough to contribute to ISC as badges are conferred to individuals based on the nomination by members and editors keeping in mind their contributions to ISC during a specific period.

The categories and the recipients of the Badges this time are:
Super Participant
1. Umesh – always enthusiastic and active and hardly misses any contest
2. Dr N.V. Srinivasa Rao – a consistent participant in different sections

Outstanding Guide
1. Vandana – not only an excellent writer but also a wonderful guide for the entire team
2. Saji Ganesh – he is by our side all the time and ready to help everyone when needed

Creative Mind
1. Partha K – came up with ideas for contests during the period

I am happy to see that ISC is recognising the talents of their active members in raising the standards of this forum. Crowning them with ISC Badges is the reflection of honouring their talents for their activities in the different spheres.
Umesh Sir and Dr. N.V. Rao are well known active participants in the different sections and they have created a positive impact on members for their unique contents. They definitely deserve this prestigious Badges in recognition of their efforts.
Both Vandana Madam and Saji Ganesh Sir are known for their excellent talents in the multiple areas apart from discharging their roles as editors. They come forward with their innovative solutions in case of ambiguities of the members if they approach them. Bestowing them with this Badge is certainly the right step in recognition of their services.
Partha Sir does not lag behind in arranging contests time to time and this Badge rightly goes to him. Once again, my congratulations to all winners.

I could not check ISC for two days due to my preoccupation in family matters. Today, when I opened ISC, I found this announcement.

Firstly, the selection of Umesh Sir and Dr. Rao Sir as Super Participants is apt. Anyone, who opens this site for the first time, can understand this. These two great members seem omnipresent in ISC.

Next comes the selection of two Outstanding Guides. Vandana Madam and Saji Sir are guiding thousands and thousands of new and old ISC-ans years after year. The selection is 200% appropriate.

However, the selection of the member having 'Creative Mind' has raised my eyebrows. From personal experience, I know that this almost old, terrible, politically incorrect man has a perpetually complaining attitude. He always makes cryptic and caustic comments/remarks and always creates a physically non-violent but intellectually violent dispute situation mainly in the Forum section. It is really great on the part of the selectors to give a 'Creative Mind' badge to that controversial man. Even if I admit that he has a creative mind, he has to hone his skill continuously to maintain his creative ability.

Finally thanks to the selectors for undertaking this important task.
