Niharikha, please register a complaint with the police and the cyber cell at the earliest. This kind of intrusions can be dangerous.

In addition to what Saji suggested, please lodge a complaint as follows.
Facebook has a convenient URL that is - https://www.facebook.com/hacked/
    - where you can let them know your account has been compromised, even when you can't access your own account.
It would ask you for some information like email and phone number and would try to regain your account.
If you get success then please share here for our reference.

    Dear Niharikha,

If someone has hacked your Facebook account and posted a lady's profile picture, there are a few steps you can take to address the issue:

    1. Report the hacked account to Facebook immediately by clicking on "Help" in the top right corner of the Facebook homepage and selecting "Report a Compromised Account." This will initiate Facebook's account recovery process.

    2. Change your Facebook account password immediately. This can be done by going to the "Settings" page and selecting "Security and Login," then selecting "Change Password." ( if you can)

    3. Review your account activity and remove any posts or changes that were not made by you. This can be done by going to the "Activity Log" section of her Facebook account and reviewing recent activity. ( if you are able to login)

    4. Enable two-factor authentication on her Facebook account to add an extra layer of security. This can be done by going to the "Settings" page and selecting "Security and Login," then selecting "Two-Factor Authentication." ( if still you can access your account)

    5. Notify your friends and followers on Facebook about the hacking incident and ask them to report any suspicious activity. If the hacker has made any illegal or defamatory posts, you can consider taking legal action against them.

Hence it is important for you to act quickly and take these steps to protect her personal information and reputation on social media.

    Hope this helps!
