Bhuvan, I will put up this suggestion to the Webmaster. The white background may give little strain to the eyes if you look at the screen for a long time but this can be reduced to a great extent if you modify the Night light settings of your system. Go to the Windows Settings if you are using MS Windows OS and under System you will find Display from where you can alter Night light settings. Change the colour temperature and see if it helps.

Sankalan, I have not asked the option for personal reasons. I have asked it for general viewership.

Generally, browsers will have a setting for light and dark more under either 'theme' or 'colors'. We can go there and change the setting as per our requirements For example, when I am working on this site (ISC) using Chrome browser on my mobile then I go to 'theme' and change settings from light to dark and feel comfortable in that. So it is the browser that provides that facility and we can always turn that on.

Currently, ISC is a custom-designed website that does not support "dark mode". However, we will be soon launching a new version of ISC, developed completely from scratch. In the new version, we will consider implementing dark mode as an option.

Thank you Tony sir for responding. I think in the new version of ISC, dark mode will be a good add-on as every user may not be that technical to change the settings in the browser to get dark mode.
One more suggestion, for the new version of ISC, it will be better to implement the "Lean Start-Up" model. Instead of releasing all the new features at a time, it will be better to release the features one by one and see whether adding a new feature, increases or decreases the page views. If the page views are decreasing, there is no need to add the feature.

It is good to note that the new version of ISC which is developed completely from scratch. If we have the option of dark mode, we switch over to that mode if we feel like. I think and hope that the new version will be much more appealing and increase traffic to the site.
