Regarding article status

Editor,

My article has been rejected due to copied content. First time, the status of my article was showing pending. That time, Editor indicated about spacing and title issue. And he didn't tell about copied content.Following your instruction, I made correction. And finally, you rejected my article saying this, it is copied content. In starting, you should reject. It is not correct to way to check any article. We have been working in this site for the last three years. we are here to improve my English language. This site is not for earning purposes. At least, You should give one more chance to edit my article.

Sanchita, agreed that the editor could have checked the article in total at the first instance and informed you that it contains copied content. That apart, please confirm whether the finding of the editor is correct or not. It is accepted that you have been associated with this site for the past three years and you are, no doubt, a valuable member but then that should make you more responsible and must restrict you from posting copied contents here about which, I am sure, you have been advised previously too. Please clarify.

Saji, I agree with your view. But you should say in the beginning. When the status of my article was showing pending that time editor commented about spacing and title issues. when I resubmitted my article after editing then he told me about copied content and rejected it. Why didn't he tell in the beginning? Why did he send my article for editing? Due to copied content, He should have rejected in the beginning. Finally, I would say, it is not the correct way to check an article.

I have also faced this type of issue. If there is some plagiarism the editors tell us to edit the article as there is a possibility of duplication of some sentences in educational materials. But if there is 100% plagiarism, then the article would be rejected. It is better to check our article for plagiarism. There are many sites to check for plagiarism free of cost.

I always check my article and after that, I submit the article. So, I would suggest checking any article for plagiarism before submitting it.

Honesty is the best policy.

Generally, while writing articles I don't copy from anywhere. My article is free from plagiarism. But, sometimes, I write the same things which are common regarding the article and can't be changed. In this article, only two sentences are mentioned which are found similar in the official notification. So, you should send my article for editing. Earlier also, I did such kind of small mistake. Then you send my article for editing. And I did corrections. This time, without indication you rejected my article. Since I am an old member of this site so, you should give chance for editing. Ok, It is your wish whether you send my article for editing or not.
