Students should improve their communication skills

We are experiencing many changes on almost all fronts. Tough competition is prevailing everywhere. There is no easy way to succeed these days. Attaining just a skill or a qualification is not sufficient to excel.

The marks you scored or the ranks you have obtained in your education are not going to help you in your development. These days what you know should be known to other people. This is possible only when you are able to communicate in a proper way with others.

Even in the selection process for a job also, you have to communicate well so that the person sitting on the other side of the table will understand what you know. So I advise all the students to concentrate on improving their communication skills so that they will never miss an opportunity.

The author is right that we are seeing many of the present students and children are lack in communication skills and in some cases children are not nearing the visitors or elders when they visit their houses to talk freely. Parents also setting them aside by saying that they are studying or sleeping. In this way they lack in even talking to others. If they are talking to relatives and others freely, it comes in their mind how to talk and what not to talk etc.,

The author has raised a very valid point that communication- skill needs to be developed so that the student can present his ideas effectively. Acquiring Knowledge is definitely important in all the stages but that is not sufficient if the same is not presented before the board of interview in a balanced way. This is really an art and the students are advised to improve this skill - set. The greatest setback is they are not able to choose the right words which will produce a soothing effect on the members of the board. We can say that such types of hesitations of the students are not very uncommon but with the right platform of training and eagerness of the candidates would ultimately lead to success.

You're correct. Communication skills are indeed essential for students, and they extend beyond the ability to score well in written exams. While written exams assess a student's knowledge and understanding of a particular subject, communication skills encompass a broader range of abilities that facilitate effective expression and comprehension of ideas.
Strong communication skills involve the capacity to articulate thoughts clearly, listen actively, engage in productive discussions, and present information in a coherent and persuasive manner. These skills are valuable in various aspects of academic and professional life, such as participating in class discussions, delivering presentations, collaborating on group projects, and writing research papers or reports.
Additionally, effective communication skills can positively impact other areas of a student's life. They contribute to building relationships, resolving conflicts, and fostering empathy and understanding. These skills also play a crucial role in future career prospects, as employers often prioritize strong communication abilities when hiring and promoting individuals.
Therefore, while scoring well in written exams is important, students should also focus on developing their overall communication skills to succeed in different academic, personal, and professional contexts.

Service to mankind is service to God.

Yes, Students need to step up their communication skills. Seriously, it's a total game-changer in school and beyond. When students can communicate like a boss, doors swing open, opportunities come knocking, and success is within their reach.

Good communication skills help students crush it in their studies. Whether they are slaying presentations, acing group projects, or writing like a pro, being able to express themselves clearly and confidently sets them apart and brings in those top grades.

But, it doesn't stop there. When students hit the real world, those communication skills become even more crucial. Think job interviews, networking events, and collaborating with their future colleagues. Being able to articulate their thoughts, listen like a champ, and engage in meaningful convos gives them a leg up on the competition.

Improving communication skills isn't just about talking the talk. It's about active listening, showing empathy, and understanding others. When students rock those skills, they build complete connections with their classmates, teachers, and future work buddies. People love people who can listen and understand them, correctly.

So, to level up communication skills, students need to practice it, get into group and forum discussions, join public speaking clubs, and take on leadership roles that push their communication. Be open to feedback from others, keep learning, and soak up knowledge from books, articles, and all kinds of media. Improving communication skills is a lifelong journey.
