    Story: A Student provoking thought!

Ramu, a student in tenth grade who lives in an imaginary universe, wants to invent a new tool or instrument that will benefit others. His professor's father advises him to focus on his schoolwork. Ramu, however, consistently disobeys his father's counsel and puts his academics last.

Ramu, who is in tenth grade, knew his public examinations were coming up, so instead of focusing on them, he searched for various research materials on internet pages, YouTube, and Google, using all the knowledge at his disposal.

He neglects his studies as he devotes all of his time to innovating new technology, thus one day he creates a new device that will locate a lost physical object. It will look for lost items inside the house and alert the wearer to lost items outdoors using Google Maps, however, the smartwatch needs to be synchronized with the lost item to locate lost or misplaced items.

He failed the exams because he focused on the invention of the new technology when the public exams were given and the results were made public. Ramu's father beat him black and blue because he was furious, but he never gives up. He finishes it, takes it to the CEO of an electronics company, and tells him about the device. After successful testing, the device has been approved for sale.

As the CEO of the company paid Ramu crores of rupees for the patent rights and gave him a high-paid salary in the company, there was a great demand in the market for the product. His father was thrilled with what his son had accomplished and pounded his hands against the wall as because of punishing his son for failing his exams. He hugged his son and cried to forgive him.

Ramu failed as a student but succeeded in life...

An excellent story after a long long time from Mr. Bhushan!!! I like it. The boy was brilliant, although not academically-oriented. He ran behind his dream, developed a devise although he failed his Board examination. He ignored and tolerated his father's regular thrashing and ultimately became India's Bezos, Zuckerberg or Jack Ma.

All young students must find inspiration and do whatever they like. If they don't like medical/engineering and instead want to become a slapstick comedian, they must pursue their dream. Only then, they will really progress. Only then the country will move forward.

In this connection, I would also like to follow my own dream after my retirement. I will try to follow the footsteps of 'The Dirty Old Man of India'.

The story written by the author was really marvellous but the parents never allow their children to pursue their own hobbies, though it could be as rewarding some as the boy showed his talent. The way the author has represented the story is indicative of the intrinsic talent of the child exploring different ways so that the lost articles could be retrieved by means of Google Map. He was finally successful in his experiment and landed in a job with the decent income apart from a huge amount of money crossing over a crore from the CEO of the electric company.
His father realised his mistake of beating his child black and blue due to his failure in the examination and his unlimited talent could not be discovered until he surprised the world with the exploration of a fantastic gift offering benefits to the millions of the people.

A good story. This brings out the fact that the interest of the student is of utmost importance than anything else. If a boy is interested in playing cricket, the parents should encourage him so that he may become a great player of cricket. In this story, the boy is interested in making new electronic items and he did that. So a point to note is that we can't say he is a failure as failed in his examinations. But we should say he is successful not because he got crores of rupees but because he reached the goal he set in his life. So he is a really successful person.
Parents should never force their interests on their children. I heard some parents telling that " I want to become a doctor, but I could not and hence I am forcing my child to become a doctor". This is a wrong concept. Know what is the ambition of the child and what is the interesting field for the child. Based on that take a decision and encourage him so that the child will be successful.,

The story begins by introducing Ramu, a tenth-grade student who aspires to invent a tool or instrument that will benefit others. This sets up a sense of ambition and innovation in the protagonist. However, the professor's father advises him to focus on his schoolwork, providing a common conflict between academic pursuits and personal aspirations. Ramu's determination leads him to neglect his studies and instead spend all of his time researching and developing new technology. This emphasizes his commitment and dedication to his invention. Eventually, he creates a smartwatch device that can locate lost items using Google Maps, but it requires synchronization with the lost item to work effectively. This invention showcases Ramu's ingenuity and problem-solving skills.

Unfortunately, due to his singular focus on his invention, Ramu fails his exams. This setback adds a realistic touch to the story, showing that pursuing one's passions doesn't guarantee immediate success in other areas of life. Ramu's father's reaction, physically punishing him, might be seen as harsh by some readers, but it emphasizes the father's frustration and disappointment at Ramu's choices. Despite the failure, Ramu doesn't give up. He takes his invention to the CEO of an electronics company, who recognizes its potential and approves it for sale after successful testing. This turn of events highlights the value of perseverance and seizing opportunities.

The story concludes with Ramu achieving success in life, both financially and professionally. The CEO rewards him with a substantial sum of money for the patent rights and offers him a high-paid salary in the company. This ending conveys a sense of triumph, emphasizing that Ramu's dedication to his invention paid off.

The resolution of the story also includes a heartwarming moment between Ramu and his father. His father, realizing his son's achievements, expresses remorse for his previous harsh treatment and embraces Ramu while asking for forgiveness. This adds an emotional touch to the story, highlighting the importance of family support and understanding.

So, the story carries a positive message about pursuing one's passion, overcoming obstacles, and finding success in unexpected ways. It promotes the idea that academic performance is not the sole determinant of future success and encourages readers to think outside the box and follow their dreams.

A very interesting story by the author. Some people have an interest in finding something new and they are not interested in traditional academic education. They sometimes do better than the other people.
So education is important and one should have formal degrees but that is not the only thing.

    Knowledge is power.
