Old educational articles with upgraded additions

    Dear Editors,
Today I was checking my old articles which were not been published. So thought of upgrading the articles with new additions of para and other details. Now I am trying to republish the old article but is not allowing me to republish. Please check the article "It's better to compete instead of leaving the competition". And guide me further.

    Arvind Kuril,

When you mentioned that you are not allowed to republish the article I think some messages/errors are displayed while you try to publish it. Please provide us with a screenshot to investigate further.

    Arvind Kuril,

I checked out the article. As per the edit history, it was an entry for a Thread of the Week (TOW) contest that you were supposed to submit as a forum thread, and not as an article.

Even now, it cannot be accepted as an article. It is extremely vague and has no proper clarity with some of the sentences not making any sense, frankly. In any case, when republishing old articles, the admin. would want it to be relevant to the new niche of academics and conducive to fetching traffic. Moreover, this article of yours does not really have anything to do with career guidance, which is the category in which you have put it.

    Ohk,
If you allow one more edits, I would edit it as per new guidelines.

    Arvind Kuril,

I repeat - just editing it here and there will not make it relevant to the new niche. I seriously do not think a topic put up in this manner would be acceptable for the admin. They are looking for a larger focus on admissions, study abroad topics, and proper career-related articles (e.g. how to become an XYZ or roadmap to a career in ABC). So accordingly please change the focus of your topics. Other general ones, like the one you submitted, can be raised in a more concise way with better clarity as a forum discussion.
