In memoriam of an ISC star

A year ago, we lost one of our stars, Ramakrishna Kambhampati. In respectful memoriam, I thought it would be nice to share some experiences of interactions with him that we had in the forum.

I recall how he successfully put across his views with great clarity, and without beating around the bush. He was also calm in getting across his point in a non-aggressive manner, no matter how much he would disagree with another member's opinions.

Ramakrishna Kambhampati was mainly active in Forum and Article sections. I remember his forceful and convincing participation in the group discussions.
I remember him today and pay my respects to the deceased soul.

Late Ramakrishna Sir used to post excellent articles on Biology. I was highly impressed by the quality of these Biology-related articles and used to read his articles. I never found anything to comment on these articles. These articles were so comprehensive.

So far as Ramakrishna Sir's contribution in Forum section is concerned, he mainly used to comment about politics. He and I were in ideologically opposite poles. So, he always objected to my 'politically incorrect' comments but always maintained the civility of the debate.

When I returned to ISC after getting the news of death of another great luminary of ISC, Late Mr. SuN, Ramakrishna Sir welcomed me in my first Forum post after the long absence. But very unfortunately, he himself left the world very soon after my return.

May God bless his noble soul! Ohm Shanti!!!

As far as I remember, he was a man of decent culture and even though he disagreed on some of the points in our forum postings, he would suggest the ways of proper presentations but his language was very much cordial despite the fact that the other members did not respond so nicely.
His articles are of high orders and the readers would appreciate his literary pieces.
He will always be remembered by al of us because of his matured personality.
    May his soul rest peace.

Ramakrishna Sir was one of the seniors to look up to for encouragement in forum section. Many times members used to have an argument in forum section on political issues. But Ramakrishna sir would always be calm and composed still expressing his points with strong messages. I have not gone through his articles much, as i am not much into Biology and his articles mostly served that topics. But his presence in forum section was truly impressive.

May God give his soul strength to travel the path of moksha. Om Shanti.

Ramakrishna Kambhampati used to participate actively in Forum discussions and articles section. I have not had much interaction with him but I remember some of his posts which are very nicely written making his viewpoint very clear to the reader. By profession, I think he was a lecturer and that helped him a lot in making the subject very clear to the reader. It is unfortunate we all lost his association very early and the cavity has not yet been filled and may be very difficult to get it filled. My tributes. Om Shanti. Hope he will attain Moksha.

I only remember him as a fellow iscian with whom I had very less interaction. I don't remember if I had any debate or argument with him.
God bless his soul where ever he is.

Ramakrishna Kambhampati was quite active in the Forum section and I remember his engaging discourse in Active GDs. He never hesitated to put forward his points in a quiet way and had a good knowledge of the topic of discussion in which he participated. My tributes to the late star! He will always be remembered by all who came across his contributions.
