That is true. There are different institutes for different courses. What course and what specialisation we are going to take is to be decided first? Once that is decided we can search for the best institute for that course and the specialisation. Based on the various reviews and rankings of the institute we can come to a decision. By talking to the faculty and seniors of the institute and going through the website of the college, we can decide on the best college for our further education. You can also see the NIRF rankings to know about the college.

While going for the specialisation of course irrespective of branches, one has to think a lot of their own choices. For every choice, the aspirants would find innumerable reputed colleges and selecting one from from such colleges might not be an easy task unless they are assisted by some counselling centres highlighting the merits or demerits of our selections.
The other way could be to go through the reviews based upon their NIRF rankings apart from someone studying in the same institution.
These days, we can find a lot of informations of the topmost institutions offering specialised courses in the different professions and Internets might help us in gathering a lot of useful information in favour of our choice.

IIRFRanking,
The title and the first sentence of this post seem quite interesting but after going through the post no relevant information about any of the universities in India is found. When you have provided a general guideline for students about setting goals and selecting a course the title of the post also should be related to it, otherwise, it misleads readers.
I do not know whether there is a marketing goal attached to this post but even if there is please go through the Help Topics to have a good idea of how this platform works. Since the focus is now on education, the posts must add value. I request you post contents related to education that will help the student community.

There are a large number of educational institutions in our country and a student has to select a particular institution based on his educational requirement and career making. It is very true that there are some rankings which help the student in deciding to select a particular college for the study but there are some other factors also that are to be checked and one should get satisfied before going to take admission in a particular institution. In this context I will suggest that the student should also go through the placement history of the said institution and availability of some add on short term certificate courses there itself which might help in getting a job quickly.
