Tamil name spell error in 12th TC of my child

    Hi, greetings to all.
My daughter finished her 12th this year and got her TC yesterday (08th Jun 2023). We are belonging to Tamil Nadu. In her Transfer Certificate, her name mentioned correct in English, but in Tamil, there is a spell mistake (Sanskrit letter came). We asked school management, they are saying, "this cannot be done. Even we try, it cannot be sure about receiving the right one." And they are suggestion us to change her name in Aadhar and other documents. How can we change her name with spell mistake by our knowledge? How can we continue the mistake name for life time? Kindly guide me to solve the issue.

Note: This Sanskrit letter not accepted by gazette office. I've my own experience.

    Where to approach?
Is there any online website to apply?
Do we get affidavit for original name and approach school & board?

    Thank you.

The school authorities can't say that. They have to change the name. You are talking about 12th class TC. What about the 12th pass certificate and marks memorandum? If it is written correctly in the certificates, you need not worry. The name mentioned in the 12th certificate is final and if it is tallying with an Aadhaar card you need not worry. TC will not be asked for name and date of birth confirmation. But if there is any deviation in all the certificates then you have to take the corrective action.
There are two methods. One is to approach the board through the school for correction. When you filled your application for admission how you have written the name also can be referred to in the application you are submitting for change.
The second way is to get a gazette publication saying that both the names are of the same person. For this, you can get a notary done by approaching a lawyer known to you. He will guide you for submission to the gazette also.
