The age criterion for NEET-UG revised

The newly notified body GMER (Graduate Medical Education Regulations) has released new guidelines and regulations related to the NEET-UG entrance examination.
On June 2, 2023, it released new regulations (GMER-23) and one of the most important ones is the age criterion.
Earlier, a candidate was required to complete 17 years of age by 31st December of the admission year. As per new regulations, he or she has to complete it by 31st January of the admission year.
Students have to take note of this change as it would affect their eligibility to appear in the NEET-UG exam in a particular year.

A piece of good information from the author and students will get benefitted. Are there any other significant changes made through this notification?
Another information required is from which academic year this will be implemented is to be known.

Some other changes were announced earlier and were applicable w.e.f. 2023 itself. As I understand the age rule should be applicable from 2024.
