Can Artificial intelligence overtake the human mind?

We really do not know what will happen tomorrow. The power of artificial
intelligence, we are told, will be so powerful. We are also told that AI will virtually
    dictate our choices.

This brings us to the next question: what will happen if the human being
becomes secondary to the technology of the most advanced kind? Can a
machine or some technology do the job of a human being in terms of planning,
    Execution and so on?

Experts who are from the IT field, who would know AI and its implications
    may please answer this question.

Although it is never possible for a machine supported by Artificial Intelligence to take the lead of the human mind but at the same time this would be very interesting to know the applications and implications of Artificial Intelligence in our day-to-day life as well as how this is going to translate our future in different aspects. Firstly, I would like to make it clear that we have been with the occurrences of Artificial Intelligence for a long and it is only since a few times back that we have been referring to them as Artificial Intelligence in a dedicated combination of words.

    1. Did you ever use the digital hand clock for setting an alarm to wake yourself up?
    2. Using remote control to change the channels or to change the settings.
    3. Using transistors and radios for listening to news and songs.
    4. The doorbells.
    5. A telegraph message.

The above were/are the most common AI type which we may all be aware of. The efficiency however has gone multiple times with the advent of the internet, chips, processors etc. AI has facilitated human civilization in extraordinary ways but even then, this cannot have supremacy over the human mind. AI has limitations while the human mind does not have the limitations. Considering spirituality AI has no ground.

AI also requires a human interface. Without a human being, no equipment or machine can be manufactured. The software required for AI also is to be developed by a human being only. The hardware required for AI is to be manufactured by a human being only. As such I don't think AI can overtake the mind of a human being. But problems may crop up due to unemployment and we may see civil revolutions as many people may not have jobs and the companies may not employ many people. So earning potential will come down and we may witness many human relations problems. This is what many are predicting. So human beings should not go fast on this AI in all areas. This is what many scientists and other professionals are advising.
Artificial intelligence also work on the basis of the programme written down by a human being. So that way there may not be any issues.

As AI is created by humans it is not possible that AI would rule on the humans but yes it would become a part and parcel of our lives and we would start depending upon it for our tasks. The advancements in science and technology have already made us dependent on the various machines and gadgets and AI will simply increase that further.
Only threat is that if AI goes in evil hands then some disasters can happen and human race could be affected to a great degree.

    Knowledge is power.

The same thought was sticking in my mind. We can make a hypothesis of Advance AI that could rule the human world. In the movie Robot maybe you have seen it, where Rajnikanth acted as a robot and fell in love with a human(Aishwariya Rai). These days the development of AI systems makes people admit that one day AI take over the human mind. If we start to create a hypothesis then anything can happen. Might be the human race was the creation by aliens as AI and we are self-generated AI. Food, water, and sunlight are the alternative to electricity or battery. The fleshy bodies and minds are self-developing hardware and software. Anything could be possible. Humankind has yet not achieved or is far from 0.1 % of the mystery of the world. Yet to discover many things and things are changing in a fraction of a time, we are still observing things. Whereas our minds itself a mystery.

    AI can dictate our choices.

According to the historian and intellectual Yuval Noah Harari's words, AI has gained some remarkable abilities to manipulate and generate languages, whether with words, sounds or images. It can thereby, hack the operating system of our civilization. Language is the stuff almost all human culture is made of. They are cultural artifacts we created by telling stories and writing laws. Gods are not physical realities. They are cultural artifacts we created by inventing myths and writing scriptures. Money is also a cultural artifact, just a digital information in computers. So, what will happen when a non-human intelligence better than an average human at telling stories, composing melodies, drawing images etc? In ancient India, Buddhist and Hindu sages pointed out that all human lived trapped inside Maya-the world of illusion-a fiction in our own mind. The AI revolution bringing us face to face with the Maya-the illusion. If we are not careful, we might be trapped.
    His views are thought provoking.

We know that human languages are formed by geography/terrain. If non-human minds are trying to manipulate these languages we will loss control on ourselves. There should be a law to regulate the AI systems. I just read news today that EU lawmakers are adopted a key text forming the basis for future law to regulate AI. Immediate requirement is AI systems such as ChatGPT, DALL-E, etc., should inform users that machine, not human, is produced the content.
