In a reply to Harjit's query, most of the prestigious management institutions including IIM Udaipur follow the norm of CAT test. Even after the written test they would go in for the next step ie group - discussion subject to clearance of the former condition. Summation of the two tests would be taken into consideration for selecting the aspirants. However, the initial process is to review the aggregate marks of their graduation and in no case it should be less than 50% marks for the general candidates and for the aspirants for the difficult categories, relaxation in terms of qualification- marks is decided by the institutions applicable to them.
You may put up your issue in the knowledge centre so that you will get valuable inputs from the members of ISC.
