'Asur' series- a concoction of myth, crime and modern day technology
"Asur" is a web series that has made news all around and have become one of the very popular series among youngsters. It is a fantastic concoction of mythology, crime and modern machinery, especially technology and Artificial intelligence. I am afraid, if I reveal too much information it will ruin the series for the viewer but I do recommend the second part of this series which portrays that artificial intelligence, data theft and data protection are some trivial things. This series can act as an eye opener for such people.This a very well-researched work which shows how much degenerated our society has become and how much degeneration is possible. Linking various things with the "Kalyug" and Kali the demon, this story just mesmerizes the audience. The kind of language, dialogue delivery and context used in the series makes us question whether demons are already in society or do we create them.
Do we need a savior in some form? How much goodness is left inside the people? If you haven't watched this series, I do recommend ISC members to watch it and if you have watched it, do share your reviews here.
