Does linking accounts of blogger posts to Google AdSense make any value?

When I joined ISC, I was in school and internet connectivity at that time wasn't very good. So I looked for random things about learning and earning through the internet. One such thing was blogger posts. At that time I created some blogs, wrote some poems and didn't open them for a long time or opened them occasionally.
Now I am thinking of linking those blogger posts to my Ad sense account and linking them. Is it of any value? I intend to learn more about blogging and linking. If you have any ideas on how to link them, please share.

One can link one's blog site to Google AdSense and for that one has to apply for it in Google AdSense online site. Google has certain parameters for considering a blog site for linking to it or including it in the already existing Adsense account of the person.
Generally, Google AdSense will include or link that blog site if there is a good traffic to it and the blog site is eligible as per the present Google AdSense policies.
I have a blog site with I wanted to link to Google AdSense and I applied for it but it was kept in pending and still in pending mode. So whenever I visit Google AdSense I find my ISC link available there and through that some little Google AdSense revenue is also pouring in but my blog site is still not approved for sharing of advertisement revenue that Google AdSense shares with its Adsense account holders.
My blog is also not attracting good traffic and that might be the reason that it was not linked to my Adsense account so far.

    Knowledge is power.

Thank you, Umesh sir; that means I can't link a newly formed blog on my Google Adsense page, which was made because of my contribution to ISC.
Also, whenever I open the site section of the Google AdSense page, it never opens up. Is it always in waiting mode? I was thinking of forming a blog related to History, but that doesn't seem to work for me?

One AdSense account can be connected to multiple blogs but approval from Google from the same is required. On our Adsense page, we will have a symbol showing sites. Once we click on that various sites connected to that account will be shown and we can add sites to that. But it can't be done immediately. It will be scrutinised by Google and allow only blogs that are having good traffic. These days Adsense revenue has come down due to the approval of many blogs. No blog gets the minimum revenue to get the payment. That will be a saving for Google. Earlier, many people were receiving good amounts but these days there is a reduction.

    Neelam,

If you have got an AdSense account through ISC, that is, you contributed content here, and applied through this site, then it means that you have a 'Hosted' account with ISC being the 'host'. So you cannot get earnings for your blog/website. For that, you need to upgrade to a non-hosted account.

Please sign in to your AdSense account at https://adsense.google.com/start/ and look at the top right-hand corner. Does it say 'Hosted account'? Let us know that, then we will guide you further. Note, though, that very frankly AdSense is no longer a lucrative avenue for earnings.

Thank you, Vandana Maam, for your reply. You understood my query correctly, and I need to understand the difference between these terms and terminology. I signed in to my account using the link you provided, but in the top right corner, the only thing that is shown is my email id icon and profile picture. Please tell me, is there any other way to know what kind of account do I have and what the difference is?

    Neelam,

Since the word hosted does not appear, it means that you can go ahead and associate your blogs with the AdSense account without any need for an upgrade. I assume that you have created blogs at the Google-owned platform blogger.com. If so, just open your blog, go to 'Earnings' in the left side pane, and read the text there. You will see the feature to connect the blog to AdSense. It is important to note, though, that AdSense approval for the blog will not happen unless you have good-quality content and are regularly doing so. I have a couple of blogs where I no longer put up posts regularly, so these no longer have an AdSense association.

Also, as I indicated, I do not want to give you any false hopes of earning through blogs. None of my blogs are earning avenues as such, with just $2 in the last three years from one, and just one cent in the last three years from another!! I continue to put in content, though, as I love writing and it is a wonderful way to do something interesting, to take time off from regular work. So if you love writing poems, do continue just as a passion for it. Once on a trip, somebody asked me why I spend time and effort on blogs when I am not earning from them and my answer silenced him "Not everything needs to be done with the goal to make money. It is just joy doing something that I love."

Also, if you wish, I will contact you by email directly and will be happy to share through direct communication with you what I learned through Tony Sir, Ankit, and online sources about blogging.

Thank you, Vandana Ma'am, for your response and for resolving my queries. Yes, there is a section available on my blog about earnings. Yes, the blogs I created are on the Blogger.com. Please guide me over the email if possible about more such avenues and how I can do better in this platform as well.
