    B.Ed and additional degree

    Sir/Madam,
I completed Btech then MA in Economics. Want to be a teacher but If do B.ed, I won't be eligible tgt posts as my graduation is in Engineering , but may become eligible for pgt because of MA in Economics. Now in order to become eligible for tgt, I started BA course which will finish in 2024. If I take admission in Bed in 2023, now my question is after completion of Bed (2023-25) with Additional Ba degree(2021-2024), will I be eligible for teacher job that requires BA+ Bed? Because I would start BEd(2023) before completion of BA(2024)? Though legally I can take two courses simultaneously now and eligible for Bed after Btech, but as BEd supposed to be after graduation program, will my BA degree be useful? Or should I wait one more year to complete Ba then start Bed? I don't want to lose a year because I am already 29.

If you are keen in doing B.A. then in my opinion you have to complete B.A. first and then select the subjects in B. Ed. in accordance with your subjects in B. A.
Another thing is that as per NCTE notification, B.Tech. qualified people are also eligible to directed go for B.Ed. Only thing is that they will have to take subject as mathematics or physical sciences depending on which subject they had in their class XII qualifying them for admission in B.Tech.
Please consider the above points before taking a decision in the matter.

If you want to study B Ed after B Tech you may have to select the related subjects only in BEd. You may not be allowed to take subjects related to your BA degree. So I am of the opinion that it is better to complete BA before B Ed.
Already you have a MA degree so why should you go for B Ed which will take away two years from you? With your MA qualification, you can think of going for a PhD by writing a UGE-NET examination that will open many new avenues for you to have a better career. If I were you I will think of PhD only.
Please think of various alternatives available to you and select the best way so that you will have better career growth in the coming years. Anyhow, this is my suggestion. You can think and take a more suitable decision for you.

Since you have acquired a B.Tech degree and in your case, this would serve as your graduation degree. Hence to go in for an additional degree like B. A prior to persuasion of B.Ed would not be required. If you don't plan your career wisely, it could cost you heavily in terms of time.
However, choosing the subjects for B.Ed should match match with the subjects of Your B.Tech stream.
Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry are being taught in the engineering stream in the first and second semesters and as such inclusion of such subjects for your B.Ed stream would be beneficial for you.
You may get the same resolved from the Principal of the B. Ed college prior to taking up your final initiative.
