A genuine question has been deleted from 'Knowledge Centre'

A few days back, I asked a question in 'Knowledge Centre'. The question was: "What are Ramsar sites? How many Ramsar sites are located in India?" This is considered a very important question for the Civil Services Examinations (both central and various states). But, later I found that the question was deleted.

Somehow, I managed to find the answer to this question from some other top-class sites. My purpose is served. But, as this issue is very important not only for civil services aspirants, but also for those who study environmental science or related subjects, I think this question may be restored.

I hope the ISC management will take necessary action in this regard and restore the question in 'Knowledge Centre'.

    Partha,

You are fully aware of why it was deleted and, in fact, it is not even understood why this query was raised when the answer is pretty obvious. Nevertheless, since you want to be obtuse about it, note that a Topic (question) may be considered genuine by the person submitting it, but the management may not find it so in terms of relevance to the section as per what is required for the education niche.

".....You are fully aware of why it was deleted ....."----------- No, I am not aware.

However, I have got answer to this particular question elsewhere. So, I am not pressing the charge.

If the ME thinks to lock this thread, she can do it.
