Knowledge sharing will increase our knowledge also

If we share our money, our wealth holding will decrease. If we share our land, our landholding will come down. In the same whatever physical assets we have, if we share with others our share will come down.

Contrary to the above, if we share the knowledge we have, our knowledge will further increase. Use it more and more, our knowledge will further increase. Elderly people used to say water in a well will diminish if we stop using it. The same will be applicable to our knowledge also. If we don't use the knowledge for a long time, we may forget what we learned. So please be sharing your knowledge with others as much as possible.

Sharing of knowledge is considered a noble activity. It is something that not only benefits others but gives us an opportunity to revise and update ourselves in that particular topic.
Many times while sharing knowledge with others we find that we were not correct and other person tells us the correct version. That is something we would had never known if we did not cultivate a habit of sharing.
I have a friend who was space scientist and we used to talk about universe and its peculiarities. Once I was telling him some particular point and he immediately interrupted me and corrected me at the spot. I still remember that point and would never forget.

Knowledge is power.

The author is very correct. We learn some thing daily from others by sharing our knowledge to them. We are seeing school children talking themselves but thinking they are wasting their time in chatting. But we do not know they are also sharing some information themselves. One day, that is before some years, I took my brother's daughter who was then seven years old to a temple. I saw a dual color lighting was found in a pillar on the road side. I told her casually 'some electric short must be there, we will move quickly'. Immediately she replied,' No periappa, that is only the light of CC TV camera, my friend told me". Actually on that day only I came to know personally on the street cctv camera.

Sometimes we feel that we have achieved sufficient expertise in most of the fields and often talk to them to make queries in their subject related matters so that they can get benefits with the mutual sharing. However, we discover that they have learnt many valuable skills on sharing the topics with their friends and at some points, their perceptions are far better than those of us. Hence it would be misleading to think that they are not ahead of us in terms of taking interest in the different topics.
