Which subject you like better than other subjects?

In schools and colleges, we learn many subjects. When we are in primary school we have no choice and all the subjects will be taught to the students as per the syllabus. When we come to high school also up to the 10th class all subjects will be taught. But from intermediate or 11th class, students should select optional subjects and also their 2nd language. As we proceed further specialisations will become more and more and students have to select their subjects. This activity will start from undergraduate courses.

Students will opt for the subjects which they like. I used to like chemistry from my high school days. That is why I joined B.Sc Chemistry. Every person will have his/her own liking towards one or more subjects. I like to know the favourite subjects of other ISC members.

I used to be fond of Bengali, English, History, parts of Geography and parts of Biology in school. However, I got maximum marks in Mathematics and Physical Sciences (Physics & Chemistry) in Xth Board. So, I was forced to study Maths in higher classes leaving aside my favourite subjects.

Because of this educational problem, later I became 'na gharka na ghatka' type of student.

I liked Biology and Mathematics during high school and got good marks in them. When I took admission to class XI then I selected Mathematics and then it became my pet subject.
So far so good and I took the same subjects that is Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in my B.Sc. and got very good marks in Mathematics. But then came the difficult decision of selecting a subject in my PG and seeing the job condition outside I decided to go for Physics which was my second choice on the scale of liking.

    Knowledge is power.

The author has shown his inclination towards chemistry and by going through his posting in his resources column, we have to admit his caliber of his updated knowledge. Relating to my choice, I was having great fascination for Mathematics but since in the higher stage of Mathematics especially in the honours stage of this subject, there was a paper of Electricity and Magnetism dealing with the numerical problems of the said subject, I wondered how there is a nice connection of Physics and Mathematics making the two subjects inseparable.
During my college stage, not only did I secure first class honours in Mathematics, I secured distinction in Physics as well.
Later in service life, I appeared for IMM examination supposed to be equivalent of Metallurgical Engineering for achieving a better interest in this domain, I have enough interest in this science as well which deals with a lot of operational issues to various metallurgical aspects.
