Meaning of the comment posted by editors

I submitted an article some days back and the url is https://www.indiastudychannel.com/resources/ViewResource.aspx?ResourceId=182627

It was mentioned that I should provide a link to the English section of ISC. Pls clarify the point and what is the procedure for providing a link to the article.

    Thanks

    Swati Sarnobat,

Since your article is on verbs, the editor suggested that you give a link to our Learn English section. Giving relevant internal links keeps readers within our site for some extra time, which is beneficial to ISC. You could even find in that section something that is associated with verbs and give a link to that page.

By now you would know how to give links to internal pages, since you have been submitting articles for quite a while now. If not, refer to this Help Topic. Let us know if you require further guidance.

How to provide an internal link can be known from the following link.
How to create a hyperlink (clickable link) to other pages?

Under the Education main heading, there is a subheading called Learn English. The URL of the page is https://www.indiastudychannel.com/english/ and the heading is 'Learn better English & Improve your communication skills'.

The format of the link is given in the above-shown link . In this format you have to use the URL of the page you want to link to be placed in place of the URL and the title of the page is to be typed in place of anchor text. This link has to be provided at an appropriate place in your article.

This is what I understood from the comment of the Editor as given by you.

HTML links help us in linking a resource or document present elsewhere to our article or write up that we are submitting for publication in the site. A reader can click on that link and go to that resource.
One has to learn some basic HTML tags for this and though in the beginning some confusions might arise but once we learn and practice then it becomes a usual thing.
In ISC, we have a lot of material about HTML tags, how to use them and so on. I have gone through some of them. One discussion in Ask Experts section is quite basic and helpful and one can visit that discussion to get some confusions cleared.

    Knowledge is power.
