A student of MIT-World Peace University, Pune, has secured a big pay package at Google

A student of MIT-World Peace University, Pune, has secured a big pay package job of Rs 50 lakh per annum at Google. His name is Harshal Juikar.
He did his B. Sc. in Computer Science and then pursued M.Sc. in blockchain technology from MIT-World Peace University, Pune.
He got an opportunity of doing an internship with Google and after finding his passion and exceptional technical know-how in the subject, Google offered him an impressive pay package of 50 lakh per annum.
Considering that he is a non-engineering graduate and is not from IIT, it seems a remarkable achievement. What is your view on this achievement of Harsal Juikar?

There will be some exemptions always. Many IT companies are absorbing B Sc computer science students instead of BE/B Tech computer science students as they can pay less to B.Sc graduates. There are people who perform exceptionally well irrespective of their qualifications. Such people will definitely progress well in their careers. The management will observe such people and encourage them. There are some instances in which I have seen where hardworking people are rewarded well and better than highly qualified people.
Harsal Juikar might be a very intelligent and smart person. He got a chance to showcase his abilities when he was offered an internship. He utilised the chance and showed his capabilities to management and that made him an employee in the company with an excellent package. As such Google is a very good company which offers good packages to its employees. Students should get inspired by hearing such success stories and try to show their best abilities so that they will get good rewards in their careers.

The author has displayed the achievement of Harshal Juikar who was able to secure his employment with the reputed company - Google. Though basically he is a computer - science graduate. In that sense, he lacks the appropriate qualification to be considered for such a hefty package.
Company like Google has a different yard stick to recognise the talent of a candidate. They might have selected this boy through a careful scrutiny. He might have displayed his potentials at the different stages of the recruitment process. Though Google is a hard task master, however it does not matter much to the deserving employees like Harshal.
