The university has released the notification. The details of various courses that are being offered in distance mode are given in this. It was mentioned that all programmes are approved by UGC-DEB, Ministry of Education, Government of India. But there is no approval from the university grants commission for PGDFM. All the programmes are following a semester pattern. Study material will be available in English and Marathi language. But for Science and MMS courses the material will be available in Engish only.
https://mu.ac.in/ is the official website of this university. Interested students can go to that site and check for all other details. Even there are some scholarships for deserving cases. For further details regarding admission please refer to their admission notification that is available on their above-mentioned website.

As mentioned by Dr Rao if there is no approval from the university grants commission for PGDFM course then it would be an issue and students may take a note of that point.

The aspirants should note the point raised by Dr Rao to check whether the courses are recognised by UGC. Hence before they apply for such distance- education courses, they should ensure this vital point. Without ensuring this, if the courses are pursued and later come to know regarding this fact, they will waste both their money and time. Hence caution is essential.

    Umesh,

I suggest that this is better as a Topic in the Knowledge Centre rather than as a forum thread for discussion. Please submit admission-related content either as an article or give it as a Topic in the KC centre for members to respond to. Only if there is something related to admission to a specific college/university/school/course that can bring about some interesting discussion, then it should be posted in the forum.
