Independence Day Celebrations - Micro-fiction contest winners

Greetings to all on our Independence Day!

It is time to announce the winners of the Micro-fiction contest. The jury panel has selected one entry as the winner and one entry for a consolation prize.

The winning entry is 'Learning self-reliance part of early childhood education' submitted by Bhavani (response #774457) who wins a cash prize of Rs. 75/.

The consolation prize winner is 'The Little Patriot' submitted by Hakimuddin Kuwakhedawala (response #774491) who wins a cash prize of Rs. 50/-.

    Congratulations to the winners!

An observation by the jury panel- there seemed to be a repetitive concept in many entries (winning a medal, prize, praise, etc) and uniqueness with crisp narration seemed to be very less, unlike in our earlier micro-fiction contests. Nevertheless, a big "Thank You!" to all for participating with such enthusiasm!

Congratulations to the contest winner, Bhavani ma'am and consolation prize winner, Hakimuddin Kuwakhedawala sir. Their entries are really good.
Indeed, there was huge response for this contest. I think members are more interested towards small stories.

    3. Although Bhavani Madam's story #774457 has got the first prize, I personally like her story #774522 more.

    4. Hakimuddin Sir's story 'The Little Patriot' bears the response number #774491. Here the number indicated is different.

    Partha,
Thanks for pointing out the missing digit in the response number. I have corrected it now.
