The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is striving hard to improve the quality of the education system in the country. In this process, this organisation has brought NCF 2023. This NCF is made keeping in mind the necessity of competency-based education. Nowadays everyone in the academic field is emphasizing the need for developing skills and competencies. They feel it is of no use to simply acquire knowledge. The knowledge should be useful to develop critical thinking, creativity, communication, and problem-solving skills. Keeping this in mind this new NCP is made and it is a step forward in the implementation of NEP.

This NCF concentrated on the developmental perspectives, adopting different teaching methods, and curriculum changes at four different learning stages: Foundational, Preparatory, Middle, and Secondary levels. This new framework will give opportunities to students for multidisciplinary learning. Academicians feel that this NCF will propagate the use of technology in teaching and learning. It will also encourage the use of technology in assessment and evaluation.

The new formulation evolved by the NCERT would bring about radical changes in the educational system. May be it would not be felt immediately but within a couple of years, we would realise to what extent the new formed system has changed the process of learning of the students.
The education should strengthen the thinking skills of the students, providing them gainful knowledge so as to implement such knowledge in the practical domains.
The new framework will provide opportunities to the student- community for multidisciplinary learning in the different areas of technology enabling them to learn different useful tools.
