No thread days are becoming more on ISC

These days we are not finding any new threads in the forum section. We used to have many new threads every day in this forum section and many members were used to respond and give their thoughts and opinions on the subject.

After the forum section was also restricted to only education-related topics there was a reduction. But we used to have at least one or two threads per day. But recently no member is coming out with new threads. The main reason may be many members are not active on this site and active members are also not getting new ideas to start new threads. This made this section very dull. I feel that overall there is a reduction in the traffic to ISC.

How can we make it active again?

I fully agree with the author. There are very few Forum posts nowadays.
In this regard, I can state my own position. As an almost uneducated man, I find it almost impossible to post new educational post in this educational site.
I can't comment about other members.

You'll be happy to know that just yesterday I was considering a forum challenge contest with multiple rewards for next month. Let me put forward the concept to the admin.

We'll organize it likely at the beginning of next month after the festivities of Lord Ganesha and before the Navratri festivities begin so that members will be free to participate. This will perhaps boost activity in the forum and keep the momentum going even after the contest closes.

It surprises me to see that forum postings are not appearing as we have witnessed in the past. This might be due to the changing of the old patterns to modify the same in a new get up so that it looks like an educational site. The members are interested to see in what direction it is moving. Once they are familiar with the patterns of this site to the fullest extent, they will start contributing according to the latest guidelines.

It is obvious that from switching from a general section to educational niche the number of posts in the forum section would decrease.
However, we have to concentrate in the educational area and there are many information and issues that we can share in the present forum section. It is also true that to avoid monotony there could be some general creative contest to engage and attract those members who are contributing less in educational topics.

    To my understanding,
    1. This platform is very biased toward one community and the belief system.
    2. Deletion of the content without any providing any valid reason.
    3. Irresponsible and irrational behavior of the editors for many of the raised threads because that does not suit their agenda.

Now if someone asks that the above reasons have no basis, then I would refer to the above 2nd and the 3rd points. Due to this, I have no proof.

I was once banned from login to this site and when I raised a thread asking for a valid reason then as usual citing the T&C of this site and the understanding of the editors the thread was closed.

The conclusion by Ved Prakash is unfounded and does not require any explanation.

The reduction in forum threads is actually, as stated by others, due to the restriction of posting threads based on academics/ education. Threads need not be directly related to education or academics, it can be indirect too.
