Some very useful websites for competitive exam preparation, especially UPSC examinations

Everyday I explore many new websites. Some are very interesting and provide knowledge and information on a particular subject but lack continuity, consistency, and regularity.

However, after exploring many such informative websites, I have found some websites that provide regular, detailed, and consistent information on a particular subject. I find these websites are very helpful for preparation for competitive examinations, especially various UPSC examinations including the Indian Civil Services Examination, where in-depth information is required.

I am mentioning these sites for the benefit of Government job aspirants. I clearly mention that I am in no way associated with any of these sites. I am only highly impressed by the quality of the content of these sites.

1. arthapedia.in: This website is managed by the Government economists of India. This site is very useful to understand various economic concepts and theories.
2. prsindia.org: The PRS website is used for tracking bills in Parliament. This is useful to know the status, summary, and analysis of various bills and acts passed by the Parliament.
3. idsa.in: IDSA website is for defense and foreign relations. This site is a think tank that provides research and analysis on strategic and security issues affecting India and the world.
4. publicationsdivision.nic.in/journals/ (Yojana & Kurukshetra magazines): These are monthly magazines which provide valuable insights on various schemes, policies, and issues of national importance.
5. pib.gov.in: PIB is the official source of information on the activities and achievements of various ministries and departments of the central government.

There are some other similar websites from where civil services (and other government jobs) aspirants can get immense assistance.

Members of ISC also can take the help of these websites to write analytical, incisive, informative and impressive articles and write-ups on various related topics.

I appreciate the author for his research. It needs time and patience to do such a survey and come out with some useful information for the people who want to avail the facility for their preparation for competitive examinations.
Nowadays, we get any type of information we require on the Internet. The only thing is that we should have wifi and a computer. Some people may even do this search on their smartphones.
I also spend a lot of time on the internet. I search for subjects in which I am interested. For example, yesterday was Ganesh Chaturthi. So I searched for information about this festival and how it will be performed in different places. That is why I never remember what sites I have seen but I remember the subject that I searched.
As mentioned by the author the above sites will furnish good information for individuals who are seeking employment in the government sector.

This is a nice compilation by the author about some important websites. Today there are a large number of website in the internet space and a lot of information is available there. Some of these sites are really outstanding and provide high quality information and data. It is good to know about such sites because if we know them beforehand then we can save a lot of time in searching the data in the internet and finding possible sites providing it.
Govt of India is building up good quality information and data websites and students, job aspirants, researchers etc are being benefitted by them.

The author has provided the useful sites for the benefits of the people. With the progress of time, we can see that there is the phenomenal growth of the sites to be utilised for the different purposes. We can have the complete information of the various areas by going through these sites.
With the advent of such sites, we can gather information on the various issues right from the best schools in our localities to best departmental stores in our localities. In that way, our life has been smooth with such informations.
