    CBSE Single Girl Child Scholarships 2023

    Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is inviting online applications from eligible students for single girl child scholarships for the year 2023 as well as renewal of scholarships for the students who had been awarded this scholarship in the year 2022.
    The single girl child who has passed class X in 2023 from CBSE and is studying in class XI in the CBSE affiliated schools can apply for this scholarship online. They have to visit CBSE board's website and the details and eligibility conditions can be found there.
    The last date for submission of online applications is 18th October 2023. Telephone contact number for any clarification is 011-22509256 & 22509257.

    Good information from the author. Eligible candidates who are studying in CBSE-affiliated schools can apply for this scholarship. A minimum 60% mark in the 10th class is one of the prerequisites to apply for this scholarship. The duration of the scholarship is 2 years. Initially, it will be sanctioned for one year and then it will be renewed to candidates who completed their 11th class with a minimum of 50% marks. A passport-size photograph, 10th class Marks sheet copy, the First page of the bank passbook, a cancelled cheque and a certificate from the parents are to be attached to their application form. All the above documents are to be scanned and then uploaded for applying for the scholarship. Monthly Rs,500/- will be sanctioned as a scholarship. A student who is paying more than Rs.1500/- as tuition fee to the school, is not eligible to apply for this scholarship. For more details, the students can visit the official website of CBSE.

    The author has taken a pain to post a relevant post applicable to the girl children being the single child of the parents for a scholarship of Rs 500/- per month. Such a scholarship would boost the confidence of the girl child in persuading her study with a great concentration thus changing her life for the overall development. A little push can create wonders in her career.
