Will it be difficult for Google algorithms to identify AI generated content?

Nowadays, many people are using AI chatbots to find solutions for their problems. But these chatbots may again be using search engines for finding the solution. We know that all the information that is present on the internet is not correct. AI chatbots won't judge whether the information present on the internet is correct or not. It will simply collect the information and provide it to the user. If the information is non-critical, it will be okay but what if a user searches in AI chatbots for information on health or money related matters? Won't if affect the user personally?

Now, Google is not accepting content generated by AI for "Reviews". Will it be difficult for Google algorithms to identify other AI generated content? Don't you think AI will be slowly discarded by the search engines?

So far the reliability of the content available in the internet is not always authentic and hence any content available in the Chatbots should be regarded as the reliable one. It implies that Google does not undertake any responsibility of the information available in their sites.
Under the present situation, the apprehension raised by the author is not far from the reality. AI content in the upcoming time will loose it's popularity.

Search engines have got their own algorithm to search the information across the internet and present it to the searcher or user. The code of this algorithm is changed from time to time to protect it from copying and other such malpractices.
At present I do not think that Google algorithm is capable of judging a content whether it is AI content or not AI content. In future Google might come up with an option of checking whether the content searched by it is AI or not. If that happens then it would be a great facility for the user as he can take it or reject it depending on the purpose for which he was scouting the web space.

    Knowledge is power.

I agree with the author. It is a matter of time, slowly all search engines discard the AI-generated information. search engines will have their own algorithms to get the search results. The method might be improved from time to time. So I feel definitely search engines will definitely come out with a mechanism to discard the AI generated content.
When we search for some information on the internet, we will get many results and all may not be accurate. So it is the responsibility of the user to verify the results. For example, if you are searching for information about a university, you may be getting many results. But we should check the original website of the university and the information given there only should be authenticated information.
It is the responsibility of the information seeker to check the reliability of the information obtained by searching on the internet but no search engine will give you surity.

    #775012,
But Google Policy already has mentioned that it prohibits AI generated "Reviews" and considers them as spam. So, by now itself, Google algorithms are able to differentiate between human written and AI generated content. I think it is a matter of time, the Google algorithms will expand their territories.
