A serious and sincere student remains a student throughout his life

There are some students who have exceptional interest in studies and finding more and more about the things around and things existing elsewhere in this world. They have great quest for learning and they do it with much zeal and vigour. Even after completing their education and finding a job and making a career, they remain in touch with studies and go through various knowledge elements as per their interest and liking and enrich their knowledge day by day. With passage of time they become very knowledgeable and many people contact them for getting information or knowledge about a particular matter or answer to a tough question.

Have you seen any person like that in your life? What are your experiences and views on this? Please share.

What the author has stated is very correct. There are the people, though, a few who can be seen pursuing their hobbies of the extensive studies in the areas of their passion. Whenever they get time, they don't hesitate to refer to the books to quench their knowledge thirst. To them, it hardly matters how the people would react for their detachment from the wordly affairs.
While studying in the Ranchi College, I came across the head of the department of chemistry late B. P. Gyani deeply engrossed with some books or the other journals related to chemistry to the extent that he forgot to have his lunches very often. His tiffin box remained in the same state till the food stuffs were emptied by his family members.
No doubt, in s true sense, he was a great scholar and had earned a great name for his research pursuits in the chemistry but for his other needs, his family members took care of him adequately.

Yes, individuals who maintain a lifelong passion for learning are often referred to as "lifelong learners." These individuals continue to educate themselves outside of formal educational settings and are driven by curiosity and a thirst for knowledge. They can become experts in various fields and are valuable sources of information for others. It's a commendable trait that fosters personal growth and contributes to society through knowledge sharing.

Learning is a continuous process throughout our life. Nobody can say that I know everything and there is nothing more to learn. If somebody says that he will be a failure in his life.
There are many people who work sincerely through their service and after retirement also start working on something or other. That will say that they are training to learn more. Such people can deliver things after their retirement also.
I know a teacher in our native place. He was a very sincere teacher and used to spend extra hours to educate people. He used to sit in the library and read some books. When students approach him with doubts he used to clear their doubts and used to say that he is learning by clearing the doubts of students. After retirement also he used to read books and clear the doubts of students. He used to say that he would be a lifelong learner.
One should not stop learning. Technology is changing and new things are being discovered. People should learn about these changes and try to apply them in their lives.
